Does Yahoo Answers delete such questions?

2007-06-13 09:11:58 · update #1

One immigrant was asking for help as she had been coerced into sexual slavery in the U.S.

The other one's comments were not any worse than many other people's. Just asking why his people were being deported etc.

People who answered the immigrants' questions were sometimes abusive though.

Many people (on both anti side, and pro side) report stuff that they don't agree with for whatever reason.

Depends on how they were worded and whether or not someone reported it. Read the link below, and odds are you'll find that the questions in question violated the rules. Immigration, in itself, is an ok topic to discuss. But you can't come on here and start throwing around threats, obscenities, and insults and expect not to get a violation. Them's the rules, and a lot of people do that with the immigration issue. It's a volatile subject right now.

Did you check your email? Yahoo usually sends you an email when a question or answer has been reported as abuse. I get them regularly; especially in the immigration section.

It appears that it happens to many people as well.

Are you saying that Yahoo deleted the question bc they were asked by immigrants? lol, that's ridiculous. They would only erase it if they has violated community rules or the person who posted the question deleted them. Those are the only two reasons.

You may have been flagged for it. Did it contain inappropriate wording or did go against yahoo answers guide lines. If not then i would email them and tell them that there is technical issues with the site.

IF there are alot of people finding this issue to hard to handle they may flag it. Im very sorry.

People probably reported it. Someone may have thought that the sexual one was a fake, that does happen you know. Or some very conservative person may have disagreed with the word sex. It happens. People report this stuff, and if they didn't yahoo wouldn't delete it.

The question may have been reported and removed by yahoo or the person who asked the question removed it. Happens.

I've had questions removed with link addresses, complements of yahoo. and i see people constantly posting links all the time. and they don't get removed. yahoo supports illegals. and I'm not trying to be ugly about it. that's just the way yahoo is. that company is crazy.
