A Dutch newspaper has received an anonymous letter and a map claiming to show where missing four-year-old Madeleine McCann's body is buried.

Police in Portugal say they are investigating the information which identified a location 15km from the Algarve resort from which Madeleine disappeared on 3 May.

The letter strongly resembles another received by the newspaper last year, accurately pinpointing where two missing Belgian girls were buried.

Im did slate Maddie's parents for leaving her unattended but I didn't want this. I know the chance of her being dfound alive had decreased dramatically but this is heartbreaking, god bless her.

Lou Lou appologise for what? I still strongly believe that she should not have been left unattended. If she hadn't she would still be here.

Neither am I feeling guilty, I still stand by what I sdaid about children being left unattended.

its all very sad, but for goodness sake get the parents back to the UK to face the consequences......

it wasnt that long ago that a child was snatched out of the bath whilst the SINGLE MOTHER was drying her other child in the other room.....social services were then involved....speaks volumes doesnt it.

I am a single parent of 3, and know that many people frown upon us, even though every circumstance is different, but whether Madeleine is found alive or dead , the parents MUST face up to the fact they left those 3 babies on their own..period

each time the McCanns prefer greater exposure they subject "as much as date photos". The final have been basically some months in the past, on Oprah. so they use those ludicrous photos of a dismal-skinned Madeleine, looking approximately 12. If the parents had left Maddie unattended in the UK they would be charged by the Police, it is an offence, so why not in Portugal.

If it is true and like you I fear it is, my heart goes out to the McCann family I did not slate them but join you in hoping they can now mourn and learn to live with what has happened.
Maddie is now safe in the arms of Jesus no one can frighten her,make her sad or hurt her, not now not ever.

I know God will forgive all sins on full repentance but hereon earth it is impossible to do so for this, not now and maybe not ever

gees hope this is false lead and think the parents have been punished enough as in let you without sin throw the first stone ...think they have done a fantastic job in in trying to get their kid back and others who are in similar sittu should follow and if the kid was targeted they they baddies would have got her eventually cant always have eyes in back of head so unless you saint .... perfect parent ..... think again

i am the same about the parents'i am so cross with them but i do hope and pray that this is not true,it is so upsetting,poor little girl.
