Note: I think that Euthanasia is wrong and it does not help people with their problems.

The people who say the bible does not refer to Euthanasia are incorrect; sorry guyz!

God is in charge of death.

In Psalm 68:20, we read, "God is to us a God of deliverances; and to GOD the Lord belong escapes from death."

Ecclesiastes 8:8a declares, "No man has authority to restrain the wind with the wind, or authority over the day of death..."

I think its pretty clear right there. GOD is master over death, NOT man.

God has the final say over death (see also 1 Corinthians 15:26, 54-56; Hebrews 2:9, 14-15; Revelation 21:4).

Euthanasia is man's way of trying to usurp that authority from God.

slight correction, the bible said, originally, thou shalt not do murder. Otherwise, God would be guilty as sin for killing all those opposed to His people, wouldn't he?
As for Euthanasia, that is a term coined in this century and wasn't even considered during the times the bible was written. However, men could and did ask for mercy killing and recieved it whenever they asked for it. Roman law.

The hebrew words (or verbs rather) "to kill" and "to commit murder" have two completely different connotations, since it is possible to kill something/someone and yet not commit murder (i.e. self defense, hunting, etc.). The verb used in the 10 commandments is the one that means "to commit murder". It isn't a catch all word for killing. Murder requires malicious intent. Euthanasia is very much frowned upon in the Bible but is not classified as murder. However, any device that is impeding someone from dying is allowed to be removed. For example, it's not acceptable to give someone a potassium chloride injection so that they can die, but it is acceptable to remove them from life support.

It doesn't directly talk about euthanasia but it does teach not to kill and to value human life. Only God should be allowed to decide when someone dies unless it is capital punishment implemented through human government, which was invented by God.

John 3:16 says God loves all...

He loves the Youth in Asia

Just like he loves the Youth in America.

Just a little humor there.
