Someone died early this morning today that my family loved deeply and I do not know how to tell my children, without making it seem like God is the culprit. I know my kids are going to wonder why God did this because they have asked me why people died before in that way. I really want to explain death to them in a way that seems peaceful instead of them ending up hating God. Please help me help them!

there is no easy or good way to do this. when my sis died we told our little one(7yr) the truth. he never blamed god or anyone else. of course, he was sad but, kids are pretty resiliant. i don't think we give them enough credit sometimes. i think if they here the plain truth in language they can understand, they'll be okay.if they want to know why god took the person, i'd just say he needed him/her more than they did and now he/she is watching over them. it worked for me.

Tell them the truth the love one was sick or whatever. If that person died of natural causes tell them we are all here for a purpose, when that purpose is fullfilled we need to go to God kingdom and help him prepare that home for the rest of us christian people. The decesed person will always be watching us.

My mom always told me god takes people because he needs them for something. That they have a purpose and a job in heaven that only they can do.
She also gave me these type of poems when my grandmother died. It really helped alot.

Hope they help!
God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.

He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on through your children, you're always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home

When the warmth of the sun touches my face,
I see your smile and feel your embrace.

I hear the whisper of love in the wind
And I know that you are close to me again

The rain speaks of tears and the thunder of pain,
But soon the sun comes the earth to reclaim.

As the days come and go and the world moves on,
I know you're still here, you'll never be gone.

On the night the Angel came and took your hand,
We cried as you left for an unknown land.

But Heaven rejoiced as you came into sight,
For your soul was a diamond, shining so bright!
