it was perry mccarthy as he revealed it in his autobiography. after that they got rid of him. this is when stig changed colour.
noone knows who the new stig is begause it can change each week. keeping him annonymous keeps continuity when testing cars round the track

Get the Top Gear Magazine where they covered the Renault F1 car being driven by at least one of the post Perry Stigs. They show the face of the chap in the driver's seat. Maybe you'll recognise him.
