a great snack is a handful(closed fist; maybe 15 all together) of raw almonds(no salt), and 30g low fat cheddar. It doesn't sound like much, but the combination fills up space, is satisfying and tastes delicious. I have this quite often, so now I can just eye ball what 30g of cheese looks like cubed. I do find a kitchen scale very useful, can be quite shocking how much bigger our portion sizes are than what is recommended!
