Christians believe that Eve came from Adams rib. That seems harder to believe than Jesus had sex with Mary Magdalene.

What do you think?

Eve did come from Adam's rib. But Jesus NEVER had sex with Mary Magdalene or any other woman. He came to earth to die on a cross, not to play footsies with the people He came to save. Come on!

The historicity of Jesus as he's portrayed interior the classic Gospels is arguable. Early Christianity would were a move that began interior the first century BCE with the Essenes--a paranormal branch of Judaism (the others were the Saduccess, the Pharisees, and the Zealots). For even if reason, women individuals were infrequently noted interior the Gospels (partly, in all likelihood because the writers of maximum of those Gospels were Greek intellectuals--no longer "Mathew" "Mark" and "Luke.") Many Gnostic writings were lost, The Pistis-Sophia and the Gospel of Philip are 2 Gnostic archives that talk Jesus and Mary Magdalene. The Pistis-Sophia positions Jesus and Mary as incarnations of archonic deities, and frequently Mary Magdalene, the Virgin Mary, and the goddess Sophia are interchangeable or wondered interior the textual content . The textual content also mentions a daughter. All this isn't to be taken as historic previous, even if--and under no circumstances became in Gnostic texts. It became all metaphor and symbolism and the Gnostics were open about that, claiming that Christ is fairly an theory, no longer someone. It also must be talked about that, interior the Gospel of Philip, it does no longer say that Jesus kissed Mary on the mouth. area of the textual content is lacking and so scholars do no longer comprehend the position he kissed her exaclty--assumptions are made that it became on the mouth. The textual content means that they were companions. There is likewise a Gospel of Mary Magdalene in which, she is about to launch into mystical teachings she gained from Jesus in a creative and prescient after his demise, even if the textual content breaks off there and is lost. The Da Vinci Code is fiction depending on findings gleaned from legend--no longer historic previous. the classic Bible itself is in all likelihood depending on legend no longer historic previous. the theory that Mary Magdalene became the consort, significant different, or spouse of Jesus and would have had a baby is area of a few Gnostic Christian lineages and is depending on symbolic mystical language. The Carolingean lineage of royalty in France apparently beloved this Gnostic legend and believed that they were the descendents of the daughter of Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

No, the story about Mary Magdalene is not accepted by most reputable Biblical scholars. The manuscripts from that day do not verify that he was married. If he was married, don't you think that the Biblical references about Mary Magdalene would have mentioned her as his wife?

Take a look at the crucifixion story in the Bible. On the cross Mary mother of Jesus, John the beloved disciple and Mary Magdalene all were standing there. If Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene or had sex with her, don't you think he would have been concerned about caring for his wife, and not just his mother? Let's say that Jesus really was married to Mary Magdalene and she had not had the child but was pregnant, you are telling me that knowing she was about to be widowed, he would not have been concerned about his child?

Jesus asked for his mother to be cared for because he was responsible for her as her oldest child, but he also would have cared for his wife.

Eve is more plausible in my book, but I believe that based upon their emotional state in Genesis that Adam and Eve were the equivalent of very young teens. Just entering puberty and physically capable of working, but young and very immature. I can see God creating mankind and then simply putting his creation in a slumber and creating her out of Adam's DNA.

You need to read the Bible..and get your facts straight. Jesus forgave Mary Magdalene, but did not have sexual relationship with her.

Yes Jesus was married, but the people who wrote the bible didn't want you to know that. Plus there's the Gnostic Gospels tell the untold story of Jesus.
