Pomeranians come in a lot of sizes and coat types.
http://www.geocities.com/udxpom/Identify.html
Your puppy is still young, she will go through a lot of changes. Poms go through some puppy uglies.
I am betting you got her from a backyard breeder so she is not going to be a show quality dog.
My Pomeranian is a purebred. She is a rescue. She is typical of what backyard breeders like- a taller Pom because they produce larger litters thereby lining their disreputable pockets with more money.
Poor quality Poms also come in a "flat coated" version. Again breeders not breeding to standard.
Since you were obviously not looking for a show quality dog, don't sweat it and love your dog whatever it is.
I looked at your pictures, what a doll, who is a purebred. Just not a show type.

Your dog is a pomeranian. I have a pomeranian that looks just like her that I got from a back yard breeder. But that is before I knew what I know now about Pomeranians and showing.
My girl is great, she is my Princess. She sleeps in my bed every night on a pillow. I spoil her too much. She gets vanilla ice cream.
Back yard breeders and pet stores dont care about the quality of their dogs. They want to make money so they just put two dogs together and breed them so they have puppies. That way they can make hundreds and thousands of dollars. A lot of the pomeranians they breed are larger, taller, weigh a lot, have flatter coats, and have a lot of health issues.
My other dogs come from breeders that show and check for health conditions regularly. They have much better double thick coats, shorter snouts, and conform closely to the breed standard.
I love all my dogs just the same. They are all great.
All pomeranians are great whether big or small, tall or short, flat coat or double coat, they are all just great dogs.
Also I want to add your dog is in a stage called the "ugglies". She is losing her puppy coat and going to get her big girl coat in. Then she will shed again at a year old or a little after.

What type of a breeder did you get her from? If it was a backyard breeder, or puppymill type breeder they generally sell dogs that have all sorts of problems. She may be a "pure bred" dog, but not from very strong parents or from a strong genetic line of poms.
Did you get papers or anything from your breeder? That would be the best way to verify her lineage.
I am afraid you get what you pay for with irresponsible breeders. They try to make as much money as possible by doing as little work as possible. A responsible breeder would let you meet at least 1 of the parents and provide you with information about the parents or relatives of your dog.
Does it really matter to you if she is fully pure bred? Just tell people she's a pom and you love her.

Did you get AKC registration papers with her? If not, you most likely got ripped off -- sorry! I can't get to the link you posted to see a pic -- but many Poms in this area do have longer muzzles -- and they ARE Poms, just not as higly bred as the really tiny, show quality type. If your dog is a good girl and you love her -- should it matter?

yeah, your links don't work. i am not being rude or anything, but i don't understand people paying that kind of money for an animal without papers, researching the breed, etc. if it was purebred, you should have gotten akc papers when you picked the dog up. did you see the parents? you may have been ripped off, but if the dog is cute and cuddly? research the breed and the breeder before you purchase a dog.
