If the Bible was never written,,,,God would have still created EVERYTHING....his word would still be passed down through word of mouth,,,,He still would have sent His Son, Jesus to earth to die for our sins,,,,Jesus would have still risen from the grave to ascend to Heaven to be with God His Father, our Father.... Jesus on earth is part of history so somebody, somewhere would have wrote about him,,has,,,The Bible is historically accurate in a lot of areas,,,so being it's part of history,,being it was the first published, printed book on a famous printing press,,WE WOULD STILL KNOW HIM.

We all have that feeling inside of us that we are connected to something more Divine. That Love energy we feel is there. It is the language of the Soul. Yet, people always want physical proof.

If the Bible was never written, it would still not change the fact that we are all a part of Creation (God). I am sure another one would have been written somewhere else. In our 3rd Dimension, many humans believe that without physical proof, there is no God. Well, you are here aren't you? What more proof do you need?

The existence of life is a miracle. And it does not just appear out of nowhere. The Spirit Realm of our Universe is the Blue Print of Creation in the physical realm. Your physical existence is a vehicle for your spiritual self to have experiences in time and space.

You are learning about who you are and how you relate to this reality. You are 60 million years old or more. You are a part of creation experiencing yourself all over again. The Universe wants to expand it's consciousness. You are that consciousness.

All the answers of God are already inside of you. You just need to wake up.

The Bible is a Human made belief system to help guide you. It is a very wise tool. However, being spiritual is much more different than being religious. Look inward for your answers and maybe you will speak to you and hence Creation will receive your answers.

The problem is people are too busy looking outside of themselves for answers. It is much easier to do what you are told instead of experiencing creation on your own. Spirituality will help you understand these questions. Look within.

The Church Christ founded, the Catholic Church, grew, prospered, and taught the fullness of truth for nearly a century before all the biblical texts were written, and for over three and a half centuries before the book we know as the Bible was compiled. If the Church had not decided to gather some of its writings into a book, it would have continued doing what it had been doing from the beginning - teaching the fullness of truth with full authority. The Bible is helpful, just as it claims to be, but it is not essential to the teaching of Christian truth. In fact, we can clearly see from the doctrinal chaos of denominational religion that reliance on the Bible alone does not and cannot result in knowing the truth. The Bible tells us that the Church Christ founded is "the pillar and foundation of truth". Take away the pillar and foundation from any structure and it soon warps and weakens, and eventually collapses. That is precisely what has happened to the truth among those who attempt to self-interpret the Bible without the authority of God's Church.

Who says we wouldn't know who God is? There were plenty of gods before, and will be more to come.
I am an atheist. Not a hater, just someone who has done the research and determined that there is nothing in the Bible that can be proven as fact. That being said, I believe that the Bible is a work of fiction. It was written hundreds of years after Christ's death, so I am certain that the authors took the liberty of filling in the diaolouge as they heard it happened. Also, Jesus' lineage cannot be accuratly traced (Peter and Mark both agree that he is a descendant of King David, but one says that there are 23 generations between them, the other says 40 something, and neither of them list ony common releatives). Others say that Mary Magdeline was the descendent of King David. The whole virgin birth thing doesn't make sense to me, and that is likely because of a translation issue. A thousand years ago, 'virgin' meant 'underage girl'. Not necessarily 'pure'. Why were Joseph and Mary in Bethleham when their home was in Galilee? Even back then it was common knowledge that a woman who was that far along shouldn't travel....
I could go on.
It sounds like you're trying to come to terms with religion yourself. I'd like to suggest that you take the time to study all of them that interest you, and make an educated, informed decision. Don't let anyone pressure you, but at the same time, don't follow blindly.
Human beings as a whole know right from wrong... we don't need an all-knowing, all-seeing invisible man spying on us to keep us in line.

And this is a very serious answer. The world would be a lot less confused and troubled. The bible is a book nothing but contradictions and people (Christan's) pick and choose which verses to live by. I used to be a Christan and man, I gotta say, my life is going a whole lot better that I'm not depending on an outside Deity to judge me and dictate where I'm going. I gave up on this, Oh I,m suffering on earth to have my reward in heaven, that's crazy! One of my friends told me yesterday that hell was on earth but that's just so we can have heaven on the other side. That sounds ridiculous to me, but I used to be that same person, so what else is left to do but laugh.

HA!

Many have tried to disprove the validity of the Bible and ended up proving it to be true.

The most recent was an atheist who worked as the Legal Editor of the Chicago Tribune.

There are lots of proof that the Bible is true not the least of which is fulfilled prophesy.

The Bible helped to organize our spiritual beliefs. What if there was no Constitution? What would be law, and what wouldn't. If the was no Bible, then Christians would have their beliefs about God scattered all about the stretches of the Universe.

If in fact no books that have been taken and modified to fit in religion had been conceived, the world would be a better place. Religion is behind most if not all problems in the world, both present and past. And until people grow up and realize that they do not need religion to be good people and live a good life and feel fulfilled, the world will continue to have the major problems we have.

Some other pointless ignorant religious text would have just taken it's place. The proof of any god is zero, zip, nada. Want to know why? Because all religions turn out to be fiction when better knowledge and understanding come into play as proven by history.

Then people would have turned to something else. There are more religious texts than the Bible.
