Well, unless God changed his mind, it should still be an abomination, right?

The dietary laws found in the Old Testament were there to keep the Children of Israel seperate from the rest of the world. It helped keep the Israelites apart from the rest of the world. This was good only as long as the church was generally one ethnic and/or national body. However, when the gospel went out into all the world, to the Jew and the Gentile, there was no need for distinction of this nature. In Acts 10, Luke through the inspiraton of the Holy Spirit records, "...And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel decending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to earth: wherein were all manner of four footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, a nd creeping things, and fowl of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat... And the voice spake unto him again a second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common." Acts 10:11-13, 15. In Romans we find, "...Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. A-men. For this cause God gave them over to vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error that was meet" (Romans 1:25-27). There is no passage in Scripture explaining homosexuality to be fine. As for the hatred part, Christians are called to hate sin. The sin of homosexuality is hated. The gospel is still preached to homosexuals. (Spreading the gospel is probably the most loving thing Christians can do. Christians understand that unbelievers will go to Hell forever if the unsaved do not repent. If a Christian truly hated a person, the Christian would not spread the gospel in th hope that the unsaved will go to Hell. By spreading the gospel, the Christian shows that he would like to see the unsaved person in Heaven for all eternity.) -Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and shalt be saved

Your splitting hairs now. In biblical times there was so many little rules that no longer apply today like when a woman is having her time of the month, or how far away the bathroom has to be from you camp.Eating shrimp falls into that category, where as being gay, according to the bible is a perversion to God.

God hates f*gs and shellfish, apparently.
Also... it's worth noting Jesus never said anything one way or the other about homosexuality. The Apostles might have, but who's supposed to be the Messiah here?

Actually it's okay to be gay and wrong to eat shrimp. The bible was written before anyone knew very much.

Because we are suppose to marry in groups that can REPRODUCE. If the whole world went gay, and would have absolutely nothing to do with the other gender's reproductive fluids, we would all die off. If all the other animals died off, and all we had to eat was a litany of shrimp, there would not be all that much worry.

I know of Jews who eat pork and shellfish. They order it sometimes at the restaurant for takeout. They are particularly fond of chicken on Fridays, especially chicken balls and chicken chow mein. Also, the sweet and sour spareribs and boneless pork. As for being gay, it could be anyone. I have heard of gay and bisexual Jewish men. At least they are honest about it. The Catholics go around hiding it and denying it but do it anyway. It isn't their fault. It is the nature of Catholicism. My mother is Catholic so I can say that Catholicism is neurotic about sex. It did produce Madonna. We all know of the good and bad side of that, 'Like a Virgin' vs. 'Erotica'. One was interesting and provocative. The other was self-exploitation for the purpose of creating controversy and making money off it, a sign of low self-esteem and self-abasement because of her childhood neglect and ex-husband's abuse.

A quote of scripture worthy of the devil himself. You actually misquote this by leaving out one little detail:
Leviticus 11:10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
An abomination UNTO YOU, and not God.
Homosexuality is an abomination to God.
