It doesn't feel like anything. Remember what it was like a hundred years ago? It's like that.

When you die, you don't go, you stop.

This scares some people so much they make up stories about a magical fairy granting people eternal life.

We call these stories "religion".

I had a ruptured liver from an auto accident and had hemorrhaged for about 8 hrs before the doctor's were aware of it. Loss of blood put me in a state of euphoria. I felt no pain, no anxiety, no fear. But my mind was still thinking crystal clear about everything that was going on. I had to go into surgery and remember thinking that if I died, I wanted Jesus to be with me. During surgery, I had a dream or an experience with Jesus, but then I had to come back. I think the whole thing would have been different if I hadn't had a relationship with Jesus. I had perfect peace, whereas without God it may have been a terrible experience.

I was temporarily killed on the playground as a kid ( I was four and got smashed in the face with one of those solid steel horse swings). I was unconcious for 15+ minutes and I stopped breathing for a while in there.

You know what I saw?

No tunnel.

I saw a meadow. I was in a nice, quiet place, amongst the rest of the animals in the world. Some I didn't even know what they were at the time. It was cold. I wasn't meant to be there yet.

Then I choked and woke up and my teachers were standing around me, as well as all the other kids on the playground, most of them were screaming. I think I gave my teachers a damn-near heartattack. They were sure I was dead.

I ruined my favorite shirt that day because of all the blood on it.

Edit: So far as what I felt? ...I didn't feel anything... I saw the swing come toward me and when I woke back up, it took a while for me to realize I'd been hurt (I was knocked back at least a dozen feet it hit me so hard).

'How does death feel?', you ask. Well, I would think that all depends on how you die. There are many ways of dying I'm sure I'd rather not experience. But, concerning 'where one goes when he/she dies' is plainly described in many passages in the bible. - When one dies, whether christian or nonchristian, one simply becomes completely unconscious and, as the bible puts it, 'one is "asleep." And, as the bible puts it even further, 'a true believer in Jesus Christ 'sleeps' awaiting the return of Jesus Christ; to be resurrected 'to glory', (as a truly transformed member of the 'Family of God' into the 'kingdom of God'). 'Unbelievers' also sleep in an unconscious state until the last and final judgement, ( at the end of the millenium); see Revelation 20 - 22.' All who've ever lived will have a fair chance to hear and understand the TRUTH of God's Plan for everyone. (God, our Father, does not want anyone to perish). Those who submit to God and Jesus Christ will receive 'eternal life'. Those who reject God and Jesus Christ will suffer the 'second' and final death. (Read Revelation 20 - 22). -Note: The 'false teaching' of 'mortal man' having an 'immortal soul' IS NOT SCRIPTURAL in the way that so many denominations teach it.

Death with feel different depending on the method of delivery ie. it can be painful and tortorous or peaceful. I don't know how I'll die, but I know it's gonna be awesome.

Where will I go? 6 feet under- worm food.

Dear dabomb,

No! I do not want to know what death feels like. When I do die, I hope that I will go to heaven to be in the presence of God forever.

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. "
