It didn't matter to me where he went. Now all the Jr and Hendrick crowd have to live as one. Go 20!

Yes, but if I am Jr., winning a championship is more important than fan popularity. Look at Mark Martin, he is a wonderful guy and a sportsman. However, all of us know and he too that he is not 100% happy because he did not win a championship. I would love to see Mark or Jeff Burton win this year even though I am a Gordan fan. I don't like bully drivers like Steward. He is an A hole.
For Jr. to win, he needs Hendrick's engine and luck.
Hendrick's the only team that all the drivers are winners.
It's better to be in a winning team then to try to win from bottom up.
Michael Waltrip was doing great at DEI, then started his team with Toyota, look at him now.
He is a deep hole. He needs to merger with other teams to survive.
He was in the top 15, now on the bottom 5. Not good at ll.

Well, I want Jr to be where he is happy. B/c of Teresa, he has not been happy at DEI. Anyone who has seen him at the press conference will see just how happy he is. Despite any feelings about Hendricks, Jr made a good decision. As a Jr fan, I will support him no less than I have before, no matter where he is, I'm still a fan. Any TRUE fan of his will feel the same way.

Being that I'm a Dale Jr fan I was a little upset by it. But seeing how Jr stepped up at a recent race and offered to drive Kyle Busch's #5 car, I can clearly see Jr is making an effort to fit in at HMS. And hearing that he and Jeff are actually good friends was uneasy to hear, but I can live with it.

Prick Hendrick would be in prison if not for a pardon from Slick Willie. Maybe all the redneck Clinton fans and all the redneck Earnhardt fans can get together on the porch, put in a big plug of tobacco and cheer for their favorite crook!
Rooting for (or driving for) an indicted criminal speaks volumes about your moral values.

i think his move sucks but i'm going to stay a jr fan b/c i've always been a earnhardt fan and i always will and i'll always dislike gordon and johnson and for the person who said gordon will get more jr fans is WRONGO!!!!.........neways as long as he didn't have to go with his racing team it's the best for him so far....as far as his popularity goes it won't have tht big of an affect of on it he'll lose some fans (which were just posers and never were true fans) and he might gain some we'll just have to wait and seee.... GO â¥DALE JR.â¥!!!!

It was both the smartest and riskiest move he could have made. It gives him the best chance of winning, but also puts a ton of pressure on him. If he doesn't win with Hendrick, he probably will never win anywhere.

I think it will make him have the LARGEST fan base of all by combining Hendrick's fan base with his carry-over fan base and Hendrick will take that ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK !$!$!$!

Its a 5 yr deal, its a move to a contending team, popularity can be fickkle, he may lose a few, he may gain a few...we will see...as for a move for the best, I dont think so in the long run, it may not have been so wise, but who knows?

He will lose his fans, they will start laughing at him and calling him gay and being a cheater. The typical Hendrick things.
