Most of the CD's are write protected, when you can't edit or change something on a CD-R then how can you fix the viruses in there!,you better avoid the folders which contains the threats like viruses,trojans-bankers etc.,you can use other folders in that CD without any risk ,viruses and trojans in CD-R don't spread among files and systems within that disk or to your system .so nothing to worry...

A normal CD cannot have information deleted. What you can do is copy the CD to your Harddrive and run any virus scanner on that folder.

i viris cant get on a written cd unless the session is left open and you choose to write something to it just finilize cd's when you write to them if you already have a viri on the cd then junk the cd
