I am going to get my braces tightened tomorrow. What colors should I get them? I was thinking about red, white, and blue for July the 4th.

Yeah I like red, white, and blue too!! Just make sure you can stand those colors until your next appointment. I wouldn't get clear because they turn yellow and greenish. I also like pink and purple or blue and purple.

You should definitely get them silver to match the metal because the 4th of July is just one day,. And after that is won't go with anything else you wear. Just trying to help you out, but if you don't care about the whole coordination thing then just wear them red,white and blue.

guess its what you want. The first time I got braces, I did things like that. Now that I have them again and am a senior in high school, I always get silver. Its up to you. If you want that then go for it, after all its your mouth
Oh and to those other people, never get clear! They turn yellow!

stay away from clear, white, green and yellow. clear and white turn yellow and well yellow IS yellow and it makes your teeth look all full of plaq, andddd green makes it look like you have spinach in your teeth. colors i really liked when i had braces was silver and pink. (the red kind makes your teeth look like your bleeding.. i did that once.. i was NOT a happy camper with myself.) but in the end it is your mouth so do whatever makes you happy.

If you get red, white and blue.....have them put it in groups of 3 or 4: molar, molar, premolar in red; canine, lateral, central in white; central, lateral canine in blue; premolar, molar, molar in red....etc. If you did not have any teeth extracted you'll need to divide the sections differently. Have fun!!

You should probably pick a color you can live with for a long period of time. Which ever color you like get. If you are a mature person clear may be for you, because then you won't get tired of them.

Try school colors, fav team colors or holiday colors. My basic was black. I got to change them every month so tried all of them for fun. =)

How about matching your eye colour? Or just go for your favourite colour.
