i dont know what pec dec is. but im in the gym alot and in my vocabulary the word rep stands for repetition. which is the number of times you do a certain exercise. for example if you did 10 push ups. that would be 10 repetitions. and sets are when you take a break in between the reps. so you could do 4 sets of 10 reps. need to know more just ask

A rep is a repitition....basically how many times you do the excersice. So ten reps, would be doing the excercise ten times. So ten pec decs. On top of that, there are sets. (you hear people say 3 sets of 10 reps) That means, you do 10 reps, break, 10 reps, break, 10 reps, break....for a total of 30 reps.

A "rep" is a repetition.....so if you were to do 10 reps a day then you would do 10 reps in total each day.

10 repetitions is doing something 10 times. I.e. 10 push-ups.
Then you do sets or reps. So you do 3 sets of 10 reps, which equals 30 times.
