mighty mouse good one but what if our world had a hero not a super hero a person in power like Hillery Clinton to change the crappy state of africa and to really make a massive difference

Just what do you mean by "to save us?" If you mean to save us from the eternal results of our sin, then one must realize that we are already saved through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
However, if you mean to save the world from injustice and despair, then I think what we need is for each person to live life practicing justice and charity, respecting one another, allowing the goodness in each one to be expressed and to grow. That would provide hope for all. But when people give in to their desires for power or wealth or position in society; who are adamant about climbing over everyone else to get ahead in their world no matter who gets hurt; who, in a word, refuse charity as well as justice: then justice fails and hope dims.
No, we don't need a "hero" to save us from such things. Rather, we need to reform our own lives and practice what we preach to allow justice and charity to flourish.

Superman is a wimp compared to Jesus Christ! Hope and justice, yes he will give it to us, during the thousand year reign, when He comes in clouds of glory! It will be a perfect world for a thousand years, perfectly hopeful and justice full!!
