There are so many long term use effects for antacids. Some of the documented effects are:
diarrhea
depletion of phospate
interference with calcium absorption
cause an increase in body's magnesium
an increase in the body's toxins
osteomalacia (softening of bones)
osteoporosis
increases risk for kidney stones
can mask the signs of esophageal cancer
can lead to aluminum toxicity (very serious symptoms also)
and yes, long term use can affect erectile function.

Antacids are really not intended for long term use. Please see a gastro-enterologist who can deal effectively with your GE reflux so that you can stop the heavy use of antacids.
