Dreams don't always come true. There are different types of dreams that we experience. I explained it in an earlier question and I'd gladly share this explanation with you.
Dreams may be many different things. Every dream experience is one of 5 kinds:
The Prophetic Dream (witnessing the future during sleep) It is in this dream that you'll experience what your dream was about... in other words a dream that does come true.
The Release Dream (the dream in which we dispose of every day mental and emotional issues we collect. Some release dreams are silly and worth only a good brief chuckle when we wake up, others may be nightmares. These dreams are important because without them we'd all be either chronically stressed out or completely psychotic)
The Wish Dream (these are dreams of the wonderful reflections of what we want, or at least what we think we want, and we usually wake up from them with a smile and a certain sense of satisfaction)
The Information or Problem Solving Dream (Ever fallen asleep worried about a problem and wake up the next morning with a solution? These type of dreams are just that. Many dream experts assure us that we really had the solutions all along, it's jut that during sleep we're relaxed enough to let our confusion unravel and the solutions clearly reveal themselves. Others believe in a different explanation to these type of dreams.)
Astral Dreams or Astral Visits (They may appear to be a dream, but they feel as real as anything else during our waking moment. In these "dreams", our conscious minds are resting and our spirits, alive and thriving in our subconscious minds, are set free to touch those other spirits, other places, and other times they're yearning for.
In my opinion, you may have experienced the release dream.

Most likely, because you are already suicidal or feeling depressed and worthless or trapped, your subconscious brain picked up on those feelings and created a dream out of it.
The part about your mom dying could be related to fears of her leaving you alone and abandoned, or a suppressed guilt that you wish that she were dead (in which case, your dreaming mind 'killed' her off, which made you depressed enough in your dream to kill 'yourself') or even just a simple fear of something 'terrible' that is happening to you. Especially if you are very stressed, you become very sensitive to any disturbance that might make the stress unbearable.
Also, if you are under alot of stress, sometimes your mind 'dreams' of a way out of it, so that you can hopefully relieve some of the pressure you are feeling. Its kinda like getting angry at someone and 'daydreaming' about all the nasty things you want to do to them. The 'daydream' acts as a release for all those pent up emotions, and hopefully gives you enough of an outlet so that you don't actually have to do what the daydream suggests.
Being very very depressed can be a terrible thing to go through, but it doesn't always have to end in death. Perhaps your brain was simply 'preparing' for a worst-case scenario and did it in such a way to have the smallest effect on you (a bad dream tonight can be fixed by a good dream tomorrow.)

sometimes dreams come true sometimes parts of dreams come true sometimes a dream is just that a dream and nothing comes of it, odds are you are a young teenage girl and yes something like 85% of all youth today go through depression so that you will have to deal with no matter what, killing yourself is never the answer though, killing yourself is proving you cant handle life and that your weak.

Only if you make them. The dream must have said something you have done to her and you have not appreciated her as much. Dreams are very eccentric but real. You should apprecaite your mother as much and as long as you can.
