How much pressure (low) are you talking about, and is it air pressure? or water pressure?

For very low air pressure, a condenser microphone element is about as sensitive as you can get. It will produce voltage in the micro-bar regime. All you have to do is amplify it and put a comparator on the output of the amplifier to trigger your disconnect circuit.

Other than that, here are some commercial products:

A modern washing machine has a water level pressure switch that is VERY sensitive as it reacts to the pressure exerted by the height of water in the drum, (which is a very low pressure).
Go to any washing machine repair shop and ask about such a switch and explain why you want it. They should be able to supply you with one.

Another such switch is a 'Micro-switch'.

Yes, There are such switches and they are called pressure switches and they are made in various sensitivities.

What you probably want is a proximity switch or maybe a something more sensitive. Try this page:

they've got a piezo switch that might do what you want
