Ok, Im pretty naive when it comes to this. But I was recently on a date and I noticed my date acting strange. I couldnt put my finger on it. I thought it was the wine we had. But after a while of just kissing. I started to feel like if my lips were going numb and the tip of my tongue as well, and sort of a funny taste in my mouth. I was a bit concerned. I thought maybe I was having an allergic reaction to something I ate, or his after-shave or something. It took a while for the feeling to go away, about 3 hrs.

About a week later, I come to find out that he sometimes does "cocaine" (snorting I believe). And now I am starting to put some of the pieces together. So now I am wondering if somehow I was exposed to some residue, or anything along those lines (no pun intended) since we had been kissing for a while. I hope my question makes sense. Thanks all!!

Sounds VERY plausible. Don't sweat it though, a dose that low of cocaine isn't going to have any long term effects on you. Just steer clear of the guy if you don't approve.

Edit: I've used cocaine multiple times, and I can tell you that if the cocaine is of good quality, it only takes a TINY amount to get your lips numb. That's why I say its very plausible. When you snort cocaine a good part of it drips down into your throat/mouth. Also, a lot of people who do cocaine put it on their gums for the feeling it gives. If he did that, and then you kissed, that would make it even more likely.

Most likely, no. While cocaine can create feelings of numbness, it is very unlikely that any residue was on his lips and even less likely that any residue got onto your lips and tongue.

I find it more likely that the effects you felt were from drinking.

Unless your date was covered with white powder when you started kissing him, that is...

Your question makes sense, and so does your concern. You know you're better off putting some distance between you and this guy, right? I don't think you've come to any serious physical harm, but you have been given a little wake-up warning. Do yourself a favor, and take it seriously.

Yep coke makes your face feel numb so i guess that would explain it tho being honest the amount from kissing would be so small I am suprised you react so easily

i doubt it. not unless he ate it and if he had ate it he would have died if it was enough and it dose not take much. if u are really concerned because of drug testing get a drug test kit but coke only stays in your system for 3 days so i would not worry
and dump the guy drug addicts don't make for good bf material
