They are only in opposite parties from the point of view of Kennedy. Bush is not partisan and often acts very much like Kennedy. If Bush were a democrat, he would not get support for some of his stupid ideas, like no child left behind or the immigration bill, from Republicans. It might be better sometimes if he were a democrat.

It doesn't really matter that they are from different parties. They are on the same side of this pile of crap Senate bill!

Bush has a lot of nerve saying that they need to "convince" Americans that immigration reform (AKA amnesty) is a good idea. Mr. President, with all due respect, SHUT UP! Amnesty is wrong!

Actually, Bush reminds me a great deal of Democrat Harry Truman. There are great similarities.

Both got us into an unsuccessful war. Both were in favor of big gov't social programs, both are very tough on national security. When Truman was in office, he was highly disliked in his second term. And like Truman, I believe Bush will be judged more kindly by future generations.

What makes you think they are from different parties? They are both politicians, their lips move, they tell us what we want to hear.

The only difference between them is that Kennedy got away with negligent homicide.
