I'm a shining example of that very thing! My childhood was
not what I would call a "normal" one. My daddy drank LOTS
when I was growing up, and there were alot of situations that
I said I would NEVER talk about. Those things that I kept inside made me very angry through the years. After over 15 years of keeping it inside, one day he and I got into a huge argument over things that I needed to say years ago!

Bottling up feelings tend to unleash this devil inside of you. You stay angry because your issues are never resolved. It can be something small that happened like a car cutting you off but because your so angry inside you feel enraged and smile at the idea of hurting someone. I know this because that used to be me. Ever since I met my bf of 2yrs I have been able to talk about issues because I know that he's truly concerned for me and loves me. Find someone to confide in and I guarantee you'll feel like the world rolled off your shoulder. Good luck!

Sometimes i do the same thing. Then when someone asks me about it i don't want to talk about it. Talk when something comes up. I still keep stuff inside....i guess it's a habit

Take it from someone who knows, you may think its no big deal holding it all in, but the anger and sadness grows inside you untill you cant take it anymore and you do something stupid to "fix" it all. Like drinking or doing drugz, and really it just messes everything up. everbody needs to vent somehow or another. Like me, when im upset i sing or listen to really loud music and just scream. you need to find away to get your feelings out even if you cant tell anybody. believe me, it helps.

Because they build up, and when they finally DO come out, it will be in an unhealthy way. They are going to come out one way or another, whether you like it or not. You could get an ulcer, blow up at someone you love, or just spiral into a deep depression. Not a good idea.

Because one day something is going to make you very mad or sad and you are going to take out all those repressed feelings on the wrong person.
I know from experience, if your mad say it and if your sad go ahead and cry. It also helps to write your feelings down and then throw them away.

hope this was what you were looking for...

Because they bottle up. Then, once you cant hold any more feelings, the slightest incident can cause an eruption, or a nervous breakdown.

If you let your anger bottle up inside of you, you will eventually explode! Then, you would either do harm to yourself or others or both.

well, you build up anger then it turns into a grudge, and you stay stressed. so let's see: anger, hate , holding grudges, stress all these things aren't good for you. advice: find some one you can confide in, and let it all out.
