No, it is not wrong, dear. Neither is being Christian, or Islam, or an atheist wrong. Everyone is entitled to worship and believe whatever they want to believe. All paths are valid. Chose the one that's best for you.
And ignore those who tell you that Wicca/Witchcraft is evil or that we worship the devil. It isn't and we don't. They are misinformed. If you want more information, you can email me lady_ravenhawk@hotmail.com

The wiccan Rede (which is paramount to the ten comandments) states "an it harm none, do as ye will." And wiccans also believe that whatever you do comes back at you three fold whether it be good or bad. Their basic "doctrine" if you will clearly states that they harm no one including themselves and that nature is sacred. I don't see anything "wrong" about that do you? There are many who believe that anyone who does not follow their version of God is evil or is following Satan but Wiccans don't even believe in a Satan figure. This all started with the smear campaign created by early European Christians trying to wipe out the Pagan religions. A lot of people asociate Wicca with witchcraft however one can be a witch and not be Wiccan or be Wiccan and not be a witch. And besides being a witch is not bad either. The meaning of the word witch has been twisted to seem evil but the truth is witch originally meant "wise woman". But then a lot of words have had their meaning changed. Heathen originally meant "from the heath" or "from the hills" and Pagan referred to those who dwelled in villages. If you want to learn more try reading Margot Adler's Drawing Down the Moon. It gives tons of information about the history and beliefs of the many Pagan religions including Wicca.

I suppose you're talking to Christians. I know many of us are fond at pointing fingers and accusations at our heathen cousins.

I find this to be very wrong. The finger pointing that is. Not Wicca or Paganism.

There are Christians who would take God to some very dark places in their hearts. And there are Wiccans and Pagans who don't possess such dark places within themselves.

Many will tell you there really no difference between white magic and black magic. All is demonic. While there is validity to this statement, I believe God still looks after and protects those who are pure of heart. Regardless of our belief in them, each of us has a guardian angel. And a tormenter. Assigned so by God.

Have you ever seen the old cartoons? Where the character has got an angel on one shoulder telling him to do good and a devil on the other telling him to do bad? This is how it really is. However these days with the New Age movement and all - It's all about angels only. The devil is pish posh... That is so untrue.

So too, an angry Christian's prayer is a curse. How is that any different from black magic? This is why Jesus tells us to school and manage our thoughts well. Even that "meaningless dialog" in your head is a prayer.

The moral of the story is, you must decide for yourself.

I believe God himself calls some to be of alternative religions just to test the Christians. See if we're really following his guidelines to Love One Another As HE Loved Us. Most of us fail miserably.

No, most people only believe in the religion they where born into and where led to believe that witches and wiccans(not the same by the way) are evil and worship satan which is so not true. Most pagans don't even believe in satan. He is a christian entity.

Whatever. Do whatever you need to do to occupy your mind. If you need a "religion" have at it. The wiccan "religion" is no more or less offensive than any of the others.

Think of it as a hobby, that means very little in the end, but helped you to pass the time.

Peace.

It depends on what you consider "wrong." If you think that there are too many things you consider wrong in Wicca, there are a LOT of other religions you can be.
