Ok i just asked a question about my pitbull, i wanted answers from people who knew things about dogs! telling me that i will be on here talking about my dog hurting someone is just ludacris, i do understand that pitbulls are thought to be more aggresive than other breeds but you obvisaly have not done your homework! from what i read up on yes they are the dominant dog but with the right training and SOCILISATION they can be just as loving as my chiwawa, that is the one constantly going after my pitbull and my pitbull cowering down to my chiwawa! i love some of the answers i got and i do appreciate the input, but please if you are a pitbull hater then i really dont want to read what you have to say. i love my pitbull and i feel he is a great asset to our family.

Some people see bit bull and think of killer dogs or think you are a breeder and will use them for the arena . It comes from fear and stupidity . People who have never been around or known someone who has owned one are afraid of them . Don't let them get to you and write what you want to this is still a free country for now .

Sorry, you are going through the turmoil of stereotypical dogs. It has been bad publicity for Pitbulls, since the old days where people used to breed them for fighting, ONLY. After that became illegal, there was still a market for the breed, and now more domesticated, there are MANY people who cherish, and train their beautiful Terrier. YET, there are those, as always in large groups... who terrorize, and torture train their dogs to protect their property, and these dogs do not differentiate the GOOD from the BAD, when it comes to strangers, and children. You have to always praise the dog when it does something good, and let the dog know who's the boss if it misbehaves. The perception can be changed if you keep your dog social, and introduce it to everyday things that involve people. Talk to your pet, do not yell out commands, as the dog thinks it' s a bad thing that you want. You will soon be received in a different spotlight! Good Luck, and enjoy your baby! steve

I am sorry but I don't know the original question but pit bulls if trained and raised with love are good pets.
Chihuahua's are small and can get to the jugular vein so easy on a pit bull. You will often find that a lot of large dogs will cower to a chihuahua.
I do agree that Pitts can and are originally very sweet but I think it's the training and now a days some of the inbreeding.
I have had one but live in an area Pitt bulls aren't aloud. My sister has 3 and they are sweet hearts

I didn't see your previous question but i agree with you. I love all animals and pit bulls are no different. Different breeds have different temperments but by no means does this imply they are deadly to people or animals. I had a little girl pit who was about a year when i got her. She was abused and tortured which scared me a little but it turned out that she had so much love to give. I was patient with her at first and she was never less than sweet and harmless. She adored people and her feelings were hurt if someone passed her without giving her attention. I have had other pits and other breeds but i thought this could be a good example.

I don't give out my e-mail addy for that reason - there are some sick puppies around I get annoyed when people bless me without my consent. I would ignore them and delete their mails without reading them. I have learned thought answers how to ignore peopel who are not nice so I just don't even read their answers and if I do happen ot see soemthing foul I don't takeit personally - it isn't about me it is about their incapacity to cope and their vulnerability. It was good learning my skin was much too thin and I took everything on board - it is also good to see how upset other people are too - soit isn't just you.

I with you sister!!! I just finished answering a questions were this poor person...all she got was criticism. We do not ask question to be criticized or looked down upon...whats the matter with you people. Have you not ever heard that question asking is the best way to learn something? Shame on all of you who do this.
Then there are the ones that make excuses for the ignorant ones. What ever happened to just...make nice? There is absolutely no excuse for making someone feel bad or hurting their feelings.

Don't worry about it some people don't read the whole question or misunderstand something but there are more people out there that just want to give people a hard time. Some people answer in caring and helpful ways and some people just want to yell at you or blame you for something. It is a hobby for some people. I am trying to learn to ignore them and trying not to make assumptions myself without at least saying that it is such

People think they know everything about everything and of course their comments prove otherwise. Just ignore them and keep on loving your pit. I've never had one but I have 2 neighbors that do and they are sooo friendly and my boyfriend grew up with pit-mixes and nothing ever happened. Also, I don't think people that are going to be rude about this question should even answer you so ignore them too. If it is "clogging" up the boards then why are they answering? Jeez, people can be rude!

YOU GO GIRL!!!!! That is RIGHT!!!!! I am glad to hear what you are saying!!!! It is soooooo true!!! ALL in the training!!! I hate it when people answer & have NO idea!!!!!! Those people should keep their mouths shut!!!!! I have had a few & they are AWSOME dogs!!!!!! I love them!!!! All of mine have been with kids, my small dogs ( 3 of them that weighed less than 13 lbs), my cats, my horses & my chickens & NEVER a problem!!!!! They got that bad wrap because of the people that owned them, not the poor dog!!!!! I am glad you put this question/statement on here!!!!!!!

it is very annoying when people answer questions with complete b.s. that doest have anything factual to it just because they like or dislike a certain dog, car, or whatever the subject might be. It just show a lack of intellegence so they need to lie instead of present facts due to there inabillty to think for themselves.
