I believe we are all born sinless and yet some people want to live life having this guilt of never being good enough, my question is why. Try to answer this logically and refrain from quoting from that book which man wrote.

You sound like a Deist to me. Welcome friend, I too believe we are born sinless. I don't believe in baptism of infants. Why? What have they done? They were born the way God intended. Baptism of adults are only confirming their faith as Christian. As for the savior coming to earth, I believe that's following man's written word, the bible. People tend to group atheism and deism together, they are not the same.

Because from the time we know the difference between right and wrong, we sometimes choose wrong. That gives us a feeling of guilt. Then we add more because we make more mistakes and so on and so on.

Guilt is knowing we did wrong and feeling bad about what we have done. Whether you believe that we are born pure or with original sin is inconsequential. That fact that we need to be forgiven for our wrong doings and are need to know that our lives aren't lived in vain, makes us seek an entity that will forgive us and love us despite the wrongs that we have done.

We don't feel better by doing something good for someone else is we still have the guilt of a prior wrong. It is forgiveness of that wrong that allows us to feel "good enough."

Ok, so Ur afraid of "that book" huh??? Just "that book" or ALL Truth??? So U "Cite" Urself as Ur "Authority" about being "born sinless" is that what Ur saying??? So can U provide the "Data" utilized in coming to Ur Theory??? Sounds to me like if U are Sinless that U must be a god at least in Ur Theory right??? So tell me why did U decide to come here to earth and grace us with Ur presence??? Was something "Missing" in Ur previous existence??? Something U could only get here??? Now tell me please, since U were "born sinless", to what do U attribute Ur aging process & deterioration??? Being "Perfect" that shouldn't happen should it??? U know in that "Truth Thing" U don't like, it says that the "Payment for Sin is Death" but I'll bet a smart person like Urself has that all figured out, don't U??? I think it also says that "Pride comes before a Downfall". I know I was born IN Sin, so what should I do to get rid of it like, ah, could I get "Re-born" and do whatever U did to not have Sin anymore??? Please tell me Ur Secret, I don't wanna have Sin! John

DNA experts have identified a DNA strand that indicates how much morals a person has (like if you'll have blue eyes, or brown eyes) ... they've nicknamed this the "God Gene" ... so it's not a question of if we're born sinless, but how much graces do we hold in our DNA make - up.

Born sinless??? Have you ever known a young child that didn't lie or manipulate to get what they wanted, until they were taught not to do these things? Selfishness and disregard for others are innate characteristics that everyone has, from infancy on up. The evidence is in the fact that good behavior must be TAUGHT, while negative behavior comes naturally. Our natural inclination is proof enough that we are born in sin.

The book as you call it is God breathed. Yes men penned it but it is the words of God. We are not born sinless- we have the sin nature in us from the time of conception- but if it ended there we would be hopeless- we have a God that sent His only begotten son, so that I can believe and be free from sin- Hallelujah!!

Have you ever lied, stolen, looked at a woman with the idea of sex, gossiped, judged, disobeyed your parents or other authoritive figure? If so then we cannot expect to go to God with such inperfections. What else can we make ourselves clean with? We have all, every single one of us on this earth has commited one or many of the sins I just listed, and that is not even all of them. God is perfect, spotless, sinless, how can we go to him with our dirty stains and expect him to accept us when we are the ones who soiled ourselves?

Your first premise is a debatable one. Second, man did not invent sin. Third, men wrote the "Book" you're referring to by inspiration of God. Sin entered the world because man chose to go his own way instead of God's way. That's the definition of sin.

You think that man invented sin ?

Sin is anything that seperates you from the will of God.
We are all born without having sinned but having a sin nature
