I have run across many Christians who say this part is symbolic and that is literal in the bible, couldn't the whole Jesus story be just another symbolic part which was doctored up a bit.

I am sorry Kimmie, but it has been my compete experience that when I point out a potential area in the bible which seems upsetting or contradictiory the christian will respond with that's only symbolic or its out of context. For every good verse you come up I can come up with verse contrary to that. Not quite God's word if you ask me. The facts in nature and heavens is indisputable the bible is.

The verse that you are reading will most likely let on if it is symbolic or literal or both. We do not pick and chose per say which is which. Jesus used many parrables and he usually told us it was a parrable. If Jesus is not who he says he is then we would have to go and slaughter a spotless animal to sacrifice for our sins, and since no one does that anymore it would mean we are all on our way to hell. Jesus must be the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy, if he isn't we are all in trouble! We would have to live by Old Testament Laws, and we don't. To toss in another view, verses can be used in different way too. One verse that may give a widow peace may also give wisdom to another in another situation. I really think it is awesome how it works.

The bible is a variety of of forgeries written by the aristocratic Roman Piso relatives. it somewhat is an astrological e book in step with solar worship it somewhat is coded with numerology. it somewhat is totally almost all compete fiction. The uninitiated (superstitious unfavourable people) are to take it actually, the initiated (aristocratic bloodlines, the prosperous) are taught to be sure the allegories. Take the tale of Sampson. His long hair represents the rays of the solar. His hair receives decrease, the solar is going down, Sampson loses his potential. The solar (Sampson) travels in the process the properties of the zodiac and encounters Virgo (Delilah), Leo (the lion), and so on.

it doesn't matter whether jesus did or said all those things. it's what we learn from him that counts; same for other prophets; Krisnha, Buddha, Zoroaster, Mohammed, Moses, Guru Nanak, Baha'ullah...

nope, we dont just make things convenient for people like you so as to please you and make things easy for us.
christianity is way deeper than that. the Bible was wrote over thousands of years, and is not as casual as you think it is.
