Jesus has never left. Jesus said "I will be with you always"
and where two or three are gather together, in my name there I will be in their midst.
and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Those that are living on earth can not see the Son of man, only those who have left their physical body can see the spirit of Jesus and the kingdom of heaven.

The only thing that really came to mind is what Peter said when he first met Jesus, it was something along the lines of, Lord please depart from me, for I am a sinful man.
It would be hard for me to even look at Him, knowing all I have done.

Considering the reaction that the Apostle John had,(and he knew Him)

Good question!
Probably, we'll have no need to say anything by voice.
But we can just do as Maria Magdalena did to His feet :
to wash His feet with our tears ...
kiss Them & drie Them with our hair -
as nothing can compare with His and God's LOVE.
How many times do we forget to LOVE, or have other priorities, or simply lie OURSELVES (sic) ... ?
It is so simple, we / I always have a reason:
