This weekend I am more an likely going to meet my boyfriends Jesse's kid... which is 2 years old. (By the way I am not the child's biological mother) It is also going to be Father's day this weekend and I was wondering what I could do that isn't expensive. I want Jesse to feel special since he is a father.

If he's like most guys, cooking dinner might be the trick. I know I've been impressed when girls I dated cooked me dinner (even though most girls I've dated are horrible cooks, it's the thought that counted). It might not even have to be anything too extravagant, either. Just make sure it's something he likes... & preferably something his kid might like, too. With a 2-year-old, it's hard to go wrong with macaroni & cheese, if my niece & nephew are typical children.

Aww that sounds like lots of fun. Why dont you try a picnic if its nice out. Take Jesse and his child to an open place where you can fly a kite, run around, play in the park or just sit and read all 3 of you. Good luck

Just showing interest in him and his son will be a great way to make him feel special on father's day. You could take them to do something fun like Gameworks.

You could give the kid a nice toy or coloring book, or a candy bar or something, just so he gets the idea that your friendly and it will help him warm up to u faster.

The son may or may not realize that you are dating his father. He probably doesn't even understand the idea of dating. Just play with him and give him candy.

As for the father, you needn't strain yourself. Cook dinner and add some candlelight?

I think you all should go to a nice restaurant that has your favorite food. Afterwards, give him a special gift and help the little one make something. He'll love it because he loves you both and you guys tried with your heart to get him something.

If it is going to be nice outside, try going to the park and having a picnic. You could bring a ball to play with his son.
