I know a lovely waterfront dinner place in Cancun, the atmosphere is very romantic and the tropical breezes along the beach are fantastic. What time can you be ready?

Something that told me a lot about the person. Say he is very into art--I'd love a trip to the art museum. Say he is an outdoorsy person--I'd love a hiking and canoeing on the lake date.

I would like a date that took time to plan. Be it tickets to the minor league baseball game, or a jazz cafe. Something that actually required opening up a bit to me and sharing something with me, something that is important. If we were to have a long term relationship, I'd like you to know I spend a lot of time doing _____. Guys who are really into working out, I wouldn't mind a physical activity date as long as I knew in advance and wasn't wearing heels.

Dinner and a movie is just such a horrible idea. You learn nothing about the person and have several hours where you don't even talk. After the movie, I know nothing about you that I didn't know prior to the date. I'd much rather something that I *hated* and at least have an understanding that you really enjoy it. My sister hates watching football. Her boyfriend was the most passionate fan of his college team ever. He took her to a game and afterwards she was able to explain that she doesn't like football that much, but if she was willing to go to 3 games a season with him, what would he be willing to do that he hates for her? Would he go to a wine tasting or a jazz performance? broadway play?

The most romantic moment I've ever shared....a guy was really broke in college. He told me this but he had $5 for a date and wanted to take me out. He made me mac n cheese at his place. Took me out to the astronomy lab to watch Venus rise (I'm not that into stars but he was so he explained all the constalations to me), then out to a local restaurant for coffee and we split an ice cream. I paid the tip. We spent a lot of time together talking, I got to learn a lot about him and about his passion.

Another super romantic one I had--a guy took me for a ride on his motorcycle. We walked around the lake. Stopped at a grill for a couple of BLT sandwiches and ate them at a mountain overlook. Then we went to a frat party that night. I think the whole date was around $15. I got to meet his friends and had a good time getting to know them as they told stories about their bud. He was so embarrassed.

Dinner and a movie are so over-rated! You need to do try something new and different. Our first date was a baseball game: Dodgers vs. Giants. It was all new to me, I have never attended a Dodger's game. So now after 7 yrs, we still like to go on Dodger game dates.

i love going kayaking, have a little adventure and share stories, and then finding a nice spot on a quiet, sandy beach and watching the sunset while you share an ice cream cone.

Sitting on the shore with moonlight playing on the ocean with my girl on my lap and having an exotic drink. I remember it well though it was a number of years ago.
