ok. here's the 411. i'm in high school, about to be a junior, in a small town. about 2500 ppl. about 2 months ago, i noticed that this girl was paying more attention to me than normal.(inviting me into her group projects, tickling, ect.) so naturally i flirted back. well from there, we've been talking a lot more, and we've hung out a few times, mostly just at the beach. she always throws sand at me, and i throw it back, we splash around in the water, i grabbed her around the waist and dragged her in with me once... haha it was fun. but then we went for a walk, but she didnt really say anything. when she kinda wandered around, i just let her after a while. we met back up in about 20 mins and she didnt seem like she wanted to talk at all. so i left her alone. she gave me a ride home, and it was realllly awkward because neither of us said more than 5 words the whole time. since then i've been worried that she realized that i'm interested in her, but she's not into me. what do you think?

Sounds like you 2 definitely share a connection. Getting to know each other. Though after a while you have comfortable silences with people. It is possible she was very comfortable. Now you have to figure out if the attraction is more than just physical. Do you have things in common? Do you have things to talk about? Are you interested in learning about her?
You have to live up to your end of the conversation or she'll feel you aren't interested. If one party feels like they do all the talking, the think the other person isn't listening. If you were interested in her, you'd talk and express some things about you. Your interests, your future goals, or merely ask her questions about things she talks about. Anything to show you are interested in what she has to say.
There has to be more than just chemistry in a relationship but it seems like you guys are getting to know each other. Let her know you enjoy spending time with her. Don't make her do all the inviting. Its time for you to make the move.

Well sounds like she is into you or she wouldnt hang out with you so much. Girls are funny in high school they cant make up their minds of who they want and what they want. She could possibly be nervous knowing you like her back and she doesnt quite know how to respond after flirting with you. Or she has a crush on you and another person. Like i said it is difficult to read girls especially in High School. I used to be just like her and liked someone and then suddenly changed my mind. Good luck!! I hope this helps!

Maybe she is shy and thinks you are really hot or she is absolutely in love with you. I am about to be a sophomore and I get really nervous around this guy that I really like I clam up and I can't say anything. Maybe when you touched her on the waist it was overwhelming and she got so nervous and didn't want to say anything to ruin the moment. Us girls get weird around guys that we like. Actually it sounds like she expected you to say something and was disappointed when you didn't. It sounds to me like she thinks you've realized she's interested in you, but you're not into her.
Try going out again, and actually talking to her next time. It might be less awkward.

Well, if this has only happened one time, don't assume that she is not interested. We girl sometimes get in funks from time to time due to all of our hormones. If it happens again, ask her what's up. More than likely, she was just having an off moment....

i don't think she doesn't like you at all ..it seems she's having fun with you ..but it seems that a little bit sad or smthg..or maybe she had souvenirs at that place with an ex bf and she's not over it yet ..just try to ask her about her relationships and you'll find out ..good luck ..
