Precious Heavenly Father; Shlane is suffering right now and still trying to be strong. She's obviously your daughter, cause she has your strength. I pray Lord you bring some physical relief that could make her struggle more bareable. I know you love her and I know you have the will to do this. We thank you for Shlane and pray that you bless her life with you love, peace, and grace.

In Jesus' name we pray, ♥ Amen

First, that many aleve is reaching toxic levels. You may very well be feeding the very cramps you're trying to stop.

Second, rate this pain from 0 to 10, 0 being none, 10 being the worst pain you could possibly imagine. If this pain is in the abdomen or chest and is above a 4, go to the hospital -- you can find another job if you are alive, dead, this job won't mean anything to you. If the pain is in a limb, I'd set the threshold a little higher, 5 or so.

Third, check your priorities. Job << Health. You can always find new jobs. You can't always find good health.

Fourth, I don't pray, but best wishes to you.

[Since it sometimes needs saying: I've had basic first aid training and some intermediate level training, but nothing formalized and am not a licensed EMT or Doctor. Take this advice for what it's worth -- advice, nothing more]

I don't think it's ridiculous, it is an unfortunate part of the reality of being a woman in today's society, you are correct that you should try to stick it out, I would too...... Please be careful with the aleeve, that's alot..... I hope it relieves the pain for you soon, I will keep you in my thoughts, and send some energy to help you through the day, I have had to make choices like that myself along the way..... Sometimes an employer in this sort of situation will "question your dedication" if you come up with something like this as a reason to leave.... Things like that keep the "Glass Ceiling" in place.... May you be blessed to be relieved of the pain soon.....

I feel for you. I was cramping yesterday and had to work through it. (I don't know what you do, but I currently work in a grocery store while going to college, and let me tell you - lifting eighty pound bags of charcoal while cramping is NOT FUN!! And to top it all off, it was damned Banana Tuesday, but I'll not go into that LOL)
Anyway, I'll send healing thoughts and energies your way. I hope it helps and that you make it through your day. When you get home, soak in a warm bath and then throw on your most comfortable pjs and put your feet up. Grab ya a pint of ice cream while your at it and put a heating pad over your stomach. Works wonders for me!!
Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Blessed Be.

p.s. I find that IB Proufein (or however you spell it, i think you know what i mean) works best. Try some of that in a lil while - don't overdoes yourself or then they'll really think something is wrong with you.

I have prayed for you.

I think Aleeve, Ibuprophein, and ASA have anticuagolants in themñ might not be the best choice.

Prayer works wonders, but cramping in ladies is quite normal at times. If they persist, and especially if accompanied by escessive hemmoraige, seeng a physician might be in order.

Blessings, Balaam

Take some calcium supplements, vitamin C supplements, iron supplements, and drink green tea w/ lemon juice (lemon juice decreases bloating). Also for future reference, stay away from all "Diet supplements" (Sweet -n - Low, Equal, and Splenda) because these create "Fibroids" which make huge clots & heavy flow (increasing pain in the cramps).

Sure, I'll say a "Hail Mary" for cramp sufferers ... I'm sure the Blessed Mary understands our need 4 help with this ;o)

Stupid? Ridiculous cramps might not be so ridiculous. Depending on what part of the body is cramping, a visit to the doctor might be indicated or simply a pain reliever, if the condition isn't serious or life-threatening, which cannot be determined online.

I know how bad cramps can hurt, you are in my prayers.

However, aleve may not help the problem. See if someone in your office has Pepto.

---PLUS, remember this! Maybe the cramps are there for a reason! Maybe you are not meant to have this job, and God is trying to tell you! Your prayers may not always work in the way you want them to. God's plan and your plan are not the same.

Cramps suck. Prayer requests really aren't allowed on Y!A, but I'll pray you feel better. Cramps really do suck.

And if you have some ginger tea, that always helps me.

Blessings!

No prayers, but here's some advice. DON'T take any more Alieve! Naproxyn has some serious affects on your system, that's why they only reccomend 2 a day. Some people have gone into coma's or had organ failure with too much ( a whole bottle, not just 6 ) of that. I know its gotta suck, but don't take any more.
