Where's the best place besides a bar/club to meet nice girls?

I'm tired of the bar scene and I want to meet nice girls somewhere else, the kind you can take home to mom. Where are some good places to meet them? Also, what approach works for each type of place?

I don't go to church, by the way.

HOW would I meet girls at these places without scaring them away?

Find a target-rich environment
It’s important that you find those special places that are PACKED with attractive women, places where it's natural to start talking to them and where there's less COMPETITION and distraction from other guys. Try the yoga class at your local gym… the Starbucks across from the tanning salon… the weekend art show, etc. If you’re willing to do a little research, you’ll discover that there are literally TONS of great places to meet women in your area that most men have NO IDEA even exist…

Play it cool
When you see a woman you want to meet, pay attention to the situation and approach her when she's not likely to feel "rudely interrupted." It’s also a MUST that you eliminate nervous ticks, stilted body language, fast movements, stuttering, and any other signs that show you're uncomfortable. And, of course, look her straight in the eyes. When you do, you'll come across as the type of cool and confident guy she'd LOVE to give her number to.

Practice your approach
It's important to mentally rehearse your first conversations with women. Plan what you're going to say, think about how she will probably respond and what you're going to do in the most common situations. Also, plan how you're going to physically and emotionally respond to a woman who ISN'T interested in talking to you. When you know you can handle the worst-case scenario, your confidence will sky-rocket and women will take notice.

Most any place other than a bar. The main thing is to check the left hand. Then, if there nothing there try to open a conversation and just be real. If, she a mom "meeter" then you will know, also, if she a nice girl and dating someone she will tell you.
Then if you both seem to enjoy talking, just ask if she like to go somewhere to talk, like a coffee shop or maybe a Snow-cone at the park. You will figure it out.
Example; Grocery store. "Hey, that some nice looking cucumbers they have, you know any good ways to cook cucumbers"? She may laugh, she may look at you weird. Then say; "I more a Cantaloupe person, not mess with cucumbers much, you know melons are good for health". She may begin to soften a little. Then introduce yourself and ask her name. Tell what you do and ask what she do. Go with the flow. But, you have to start the conversation. Most times just out and about, a woman not going to act as responsive as she may in a bar, giving you the eye and smiling.
Sometimes you may just talk a little and go on. You just need to learn to start a conversation. But, use your personality. You like to joke, then joke. You more serious, then be serious. Then the girl that responds has a similar personality.

Church is ok, if you want to meet women who act nice in public but are either slutty or bossy when no one else is around.

Parks and playgrounds are good if you wanna meet up with divorced or single parents, just use the story that you were supposed to meet someone but got stood up or they'll think you are eyeing the little kids and that ain't cool.

Malls are good, but most chicks there end up being taken..

Supermarkets are cool to pick up chicks. You get a selection of single women, divorced women, married women who are planning to leave their dead beat husbands to find a real man.

This all might not be too much of a help, but after trying to look for a 'nice girl' for years, me and some friends can guarantee this is a realistic analysis for you.

You can meet devils in a nursery, and angels in a nightclub... For example, you have tried bars and night clubs, and now you will try other places... Aren't you the same person ? So isn't it stupid to say people you meet in bars are bad boys ?
The real problem is : approaching... So, first of all, approach many attractive girls, just talk them friendly, without expecting anything, without doing anything edgy... You'll get use to talk to beautiful girls, and lose your fear of approach. Then, it's up to you. Don't be like the other guys : don't offer gifts and drinks first ; talk, talk, talk.. Tell funny stories... Don't look for the approval of anybody (but don't be arrogant as well); surprise them. The clue is : attracting them. Not chasing them.

What are your interests. You're more likely to find someone compatible if she shares your hobbies/interests. If you are an active person, the gym is a great place. Since you are in college, that's a great place to meet people. Join clubs that you are interested in.

School. Take a sociology class or something at community college, preferably one that assigns you into groups for an end of term presentation. The couple hundred bucks you spend on the class over the course of a semester is less than what you'd spend at a bar over 3 months, and you're guaranteed to get some numbers.

Well, you can meet nice girls anywhere. Like the mall, a cafe, or a place where you think your type of girl would hang out. The approach thing is hard, because different girls like and dislike different approaches. So just be yourself and make good convo and compliment her.

Church? i just think going to pick up girls at a church is so wrong and all different levels...a take home to mom girl i would probably say a hardworker. soo hmm try the cute girl the department store or one you meet in your everyday life like target or supermarket. im just throwing out places but you get the idea

Church. Clubs (not party clubs, but rather clubs in areas that you are interested in, like a tennis club or movie club). Volunteer opportunities. Parks. Museums. Libraries. Work. Universities. Pretty much everywhere BUT bars and clubs.
