i'm kinda open minded about it. There is evidence that a LOT of early christians believed in it, even the key 3rd century theologian, origen; later anathematized. Some Shia Muslims also believe in it.

The concept of reincarnation is complex in that it is widely used by many beliefs and cultures and has undergone changes thru the ages. While these concepts are fairly similar there different enough that just the word could mean totally different things depending on who you ask. I will attempt to define it very generally as to give a place to work from and also attempt to keep my answer as short as possible. We are all made up of energy as is the entire universe, energy in different forms, we as is the universe are in a constant state of shifting. We move from one state of being to the other. Much like you are not the same person you were last year last month or even last week. So that fluidity continuing in everything allows us to exist perpetually. Death is simply another transition into another state of energy which we are not familiar with. The finality and unknown of it make it the philosophical Juggernaut it is. In the end though we know that energy cannot be destroyed nor created only change form so our energy our essence will continue to exist. For some this could mean the rebirth into another body for others it could mean an existence which reaches beyond our comprehension, regardless it is all cyclical and there is no finality as that would mean the universe would be nothing but the basic pieces the basic energy. As there exists such diversity in the universe then we see also the diversity in reality and in existence. Sorry if that got a bit heady or scientific not my intent but the question is quite heady in and of itself LOL. Hope this helped let me know if you have any questions I will do my best to answer.

I believe in it; all of life and the forces have positive and negative energies that unlitmately balances things out, including the human spirit.
The wrongs that we have committed today will come back to haunt us in the next lifetime.
I can't wait for the politicians who ignore pollution today that will kill them in the next lifetime.
Anyway, it's true...even the good things you do now will come back to you.

I dunno. It's weird how some people just seem to feel in touch with things they couldn't possibly know about.
I saw a TV programme where celebrities were regressed and it was pretty scary!!
