Are any of you Stewart fans dissappointed with Gibbs for not picking up Jr. ? Also how will this change the alliance the 2 of them have on the track?

No, I'm not dissappointed with Gibbs not getting Jr.
And I don't really think that it will change the alliance of Tony and Jr. on the track.
They will still work together when they can.

I'm a Tony fan, and I totally respect Joe Gibbs' decision about what sponsors he wants his racing team associated with. Some things are not for sale.
I don't know how it will affect any alliance that Tony and Jr have on the track - that will be interesting. It will also be interesting to see how it affects the Jeff/Jimmie dynamic.

gibbs wont allow budwiser as a sponsor and its looking like they might be going to toyota in the near future so it never really was an option
same with childress the jr fans wanted him there allot more than he wanted to be there,
as for on track drafting partners this shouldn't change a thing if anything now jr has a faster car and will be able to team up with tony more often

too much mention that Gibbs dont want a beer sponsor, going to change to toyots when Tonys contract is done...no go for either side

Yes, that would have been nice, but figured it wouldn't happen. Those 2 are such good friends, so I'm sure that they'll still work together on the track! It will be interesting ~ to say the least!!

Junior made the best choice he could make.JGR is a great team but Hendrick Motorsprots is the best there is. Tony and Junior are still friends and I look for them to continue to help each other out when the situation presents itself.

we knew it wasn't going to happen due to Gibbs not accepting alcohol sponsorship. But I would have loved to see it
