Fella, asserting that there's "not one shred of evidence for evolution" only highlights how ignorant and ill informed you are about the modern 'mainstream" scientific principles and explanations of the natural world.

There has been many references forwarded here, allowing access to all the "evidence" you could ever want regarding evolution, but you WILL NOT see it.. This doesn't make it non existant..!

You are merely parroting old and easily countered ridiculous religious dogma, so don't try to look clever, because you aren't..!

Maybe try: talkorigins.com, then do your research from there. Only then will you realise what a complete fool you are making of yourself when debating something you know nothing about with those who are more informed than you..

The question here is in the title..!

And the answer to the question is yes.

Look--a lot of the people who "don'[t beleive in evolution" are well-meaning and decent--if ignorant. But the leadership of the so-called "fundamentalist" (which it in fact isn't--it isn't even Christian) right wing has created a fantasy world for their followers--complete with a pseuo-science to help indoctrinate them. Their motives for doing so are the same old ones--greed and power.

But it's not a matter of education--its a matter of deprogramming, because these peoplea re quite literally brainwashed in many caases.

I do not know... but you seem to... The "Theory" of Evolution is a valid tool for use in certain scientific studies... But... it is a Theory... and it will remain a theory... it can not be proved by any scientific method. No reputable "scientist" would claim otherwise.... The difficulty I have with it is that ones like you have elevated it beyond it's intended purpose... And the fact that it IS taught as fact in many public schools... and is being promoted as another man invented "religion"

That a place called the Creation Museum exists shows how pathetic the education level is in this country

Sigh, so true. ONE WAY has used the inevitable "Theory" argument, just to accent what staggering idiots so many of them are.

I am becoming a cynic just reading their dim witted, repetitive, and dogmatic replies. Thank little "g" god for the drinking game!
