I'm not talking about the eradication of our little furry turf-digging friends but I've had a mole all my life near a very delicate part of my anatomy (have a guess!). It's not exactly the smallest mole in the world, so I would like to have it removed. Has anyone out there in questionland had a mole removed - what was the process?
Did you have to see your doc first or can you just book into a private place and get them to zap it off (very technical term I know). Cost isn't really an issue but I would really like your feedback. Thanx.

It hurts for a few seconds. A doctor must take care of it.

Moles happen to be hyper-pigmentation found on skin. These might be taken out through surgery treatment, or better yet by using many store products or natural home remedies.

Surgery is expensive, being between $100 to $400 and it can cause scarring damage. Do-it-yourself solutions tend to be economical and also can easily do away with skin moles within just a few days with no scar issues.

Do-it-yourself solutions can include apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, as well as grapefruit seed extract applied during a brief period of time.

I had a mole removed once. The dermatologist gave me a shot first to numb the area, and then she came back 10 minutes later and cut the mole off and then just applied a butterfly bandage and it was all healed up within a week or so.

A lot of people come to doctors wanting things cut or zapped off their privates. They won't be embarrassed, so you shouldn't be embarrassed. I had a skin tag cut off the underside of my breast once and it didn't bother me a bit to ask..........and I felt better after it was gone because it didn't make me self conscious about how my breast looked anymore.

If it bothers you, get it taken care of. Good luck

A dr. would be the one, I would choose a Dermatologist or a plastic surgeon, or even your GYN. I managed a plastics surgeons office for 4 years and we did a lot of mole removals. I even had him remove one from my daughters wrist. I would have the plastic surgeon do it, he'll leave the smallest scar in my opinion

I went to my doctor and it was done there in the office. They numb the area and cut it out. Depending on the depth/width they need to go, they'll either put a stitch or two in or butterfly/band-aid it.

A dermatologist can do it and depending on the size they may want to test it for cancer.
