This by the way, creationists, is what we call a Transitional Fossil. It may be difficult for you to understand, what with this being a REAL discovery and not something from an outdated book of bronze age jewish mythology, or some inane prattle from Kirk Cameron, but this is real life, and this is a real fossil.

For those of you mouth-breathing 'tards that are saying "this isn't a transitional" um, what are you basing that on?
Oh yes, on your own ignorance and intellectual cowardice.
Thanks for reminding me, once again, why christianity should be deemed a mental illness.

Lexie,
you "remain unconvinced"? hmm, I guess a stubborn unwillingness to look facts in the face is some kind of defense mechanism.
Me? I'll take reality over your mythology any day of the week.

Yoda, you should try not too ask questions so aggressively, it just erks people (unless that's what you are going for). I don't normally agree with FIREBALL226 but I do here. Most religious folks believe in science as well, and carbon dating doesn't disprove creationism, it just more precisely articulates the time line. From the Big Bang to the time of OT was 5-6 billion years, how can someone 3000 yrs ago possibly comprehend that time scale, so they wrote what they knew.
Its too bad with some people today, our modern intellect can comprehend that scale and we KNOW better but they purposely fail to understand.
Ignorance by choice.

I mean really, God is all powerful. Why would he need to rest on any day?

Wow! Two new species in one posting. Good job Yoda Green! Good job Kallan!

It saddens me to see such devotion to perpetual ignorance among some of our friends. Why are they so damned determined to ignore objective reality, yet so damned certain that their imaginary God is real? I know we're not crazy and I'm pretty certain they're not crazy either. What we have here is a genuine paradox. It may well be that both groups are correct, if we could just stop squabbling and realize the problem is somehow deeply hidden within the way we're asking the question.

From governmental area there must be lots extra clever complots to establish communities against one yet another, and those communities ought to have extra handy get right of entry to to weapons, using fact the subject is extremely pressing, no placebos will help right here to make the susceptible think of themselves ineffective. Or are we in basic terms going to attend till nature would be sure the subject. Why no longer in basic terms help evolution a hand and be the creation of the chaos which will are available in anyway? in case you have the objective to checklist me, for regardless of reason, think of approximately what an asshole you're, aside from being spiritually retarded. approximately your remark to Thomas : be careful of what you reproduction/paste. Thomas is punctiliously desirable in his remark approximately deif. He exhibits super mind. in basic terms your reactions in the direction of his contributions coach, yet yet back, your religious retardation. Gary, whilst are you ultimately improve up, you and your little peer reviewed and double blindly controlled nincompoops? you are the clever ones, as you declare. you ought to offer the suited occasion. it somewhat is talked approximately as actual management. i'm hoping your next contributions coach you're on the suited way, or I take you to Vietnam and placed my knife desirable the place you like it. good success.

You need to understand, and accept, that christians are never going to let facts interfere with their ludicrous beliefs. When science makes another advancement in the field of evolution, all the christians do is come up with yet another inane "refutiation." It's pathetic, I know, but that's how it is.

Says it's a new species, that it died in it's 11th year of life, that if it had lived to reach adulthood it would have been much larger. The only fact here is that they've found something new, which may or may not prove to be what they think it is. Enjoy your moment, Gloat while you can.

This story does not negate creationism for me. God created all those species, just because science may have discovered something does not negate the fact God created it. For the person who is trying to say, that fossil was not created in the image of God- you are right- human beings were and are!! Nothing will negate the truth for me- just because it is in the newspaper does not make it so.

With all of the facts in support of evolution, I don't think there are any more places to stick the nails. They'll still believe in the basis of emotional arguments, however.

This isn't pref of anything in transition. How do you explain then how we are finding more and more of the so-called extinct species alive, ones that were suppose to be alive only when the dinosaurs were here?

Don't you suppose Satan must have buried that fossil in Mongolia? That has to be it. Those poor creationists can't possibly be wrong

So you have found a piece of history Hurray. It fills a jigaw piece of the past and helps us understand the future. Without it we cannot be sure, with it we strengthen our past. We need both.
