You'd lose some. You can surely reduce your weight through diet AND exercise. It's almost impossible to do one without the other. Watch your calorie intake and start doing cardio at least 3 times a week for about 30 minutes. Make sure to drink atleast 8 glasses of water each day as well. Once you get comfortable with your cardio, you could increase the time or start including resistance training.
If you're able to get a membership from a local gym, try using the treadmill or the elliptical trainer (burns most calories) as your method of doing cardio. If you can't get to a gym, invest in a few workout DVD's that you can use at home.
By incorporating resistance training, your body will build some muscle, which will aid in the burning of fat.
Good luck!!

how much weight you lose on a diet depends on your body and your lifestyle. if you are very active and workout, you'll lose more weight than if you're sedentary. on a diet of fruit and salad, you'll more than likely lose weight very quickly, but after a few days the weight loss will slow down drastically. also, you say a salad for dinner, but what are you putting on the salad? dressings, cheese, and some types of meats that frequently top salads are full of fat and calories.
in addition, most people who go on extremely strict diets (such as the one you are planning) either give it up really quickly, cheat frequently, or end up obsessing about it and further limiting what they eat. this can be very dangerous and even possably lead to a serious eating dissorder.
the best thing you could do (short of seeng a nutritionist) would be to cut sweets, butter, and sugary drinks--replace sweets with fruits and vegetables, generally eat healthier meals--while adding extra physical activity.

How much weight you'd loose depends on how much you weight already......Generally the more you weight the more calories you burn and the less you weight the less calories burnt.......Also if you eat a lot of foods rich in protein and you're active during the week......You may gain a few pounds......But be mindful that MUSCLE weights MORE THEN FAT and it isn't made in just an hour or two......so if that happens don't get 2 crazy.....But u could NUTRISYSTEM.....that works really well my aunt is doing that with exercicing and in the first week she lost 7.5 lbs.......But just look around, EXPERIMENT and try different stuff...Everything is not for everybody..

One pound equals 3500 calories. So, it would depend on how many calories are in the food you eat. Keep track of that. Cut 500 calories a day for 7 days to lose 1 pound. Simple as that.

I don't know but that is not a healthy diet. Your body needs protein, carbs and a little fat to function properly. Concentrate on eating some of all the food groups every day and get regular exercise.

it's not about what you eat, its how much you eat in a day.. but you will gain everything you lost back once you start eating regular again... my mom lost over 100 pounds by watching her fat intake... she basically went on a fat free diet. and exercise is really important if you wanna lose weight. it takes both diet and exercise to maintain a healthy body, and to lose weight
