Ok Its Kind of hard to alter her diet considering I have three dogs She doesn't eat as much as the rest though.
She's only 2
But she's the most athletic, energetic, dog out of them all!
Its not medical either.
So what is the problem?

You should start out by feeding her very high quality, complete and balanced dog food. Look on the ingredients list.Meat should be the first ingredient listed, not corn. You then need to stop feeding the dog treats, left overs, etc. until the dog loses some weight. You could also give her about 1/4 less food then you giving her.My dog was a little chubby for a while too and I did this and she lost the extra weight. You can also try taking her for more walks.I hope this helps.

Try reducing her portions and increasing her exercise. You can also try a light diet dog food or a higher quality than you're feeding her now. The cheaper commercial dog foods tend to have more fat and salt to make them more palatable.
The other thing you can do is home cook for her, choosing lean meat and steamed vegetables with very little, if any, carbs.

There could be many reasons some medical and some from the food you feed her. Change foods to a good well balanced diet food and see if it helps. My Lab got huge even though he was very active. I tried everything and findly found out he had a medical issue. Now he is on Wellness Diet food, gets exercise and veggies as treats. He has started to drop the weight and his health is getting better.

Make sure the dog gets activity outdoors and give the dog a big bone to chew on instead of all that food. Water is good too. Also worm your dog if belly is bloated.

Change her diet to a lower calorie one. Also, make sure you are not over feeding her meals, or in treats. This will make her gain weight.

I suggest the senior formula from Flint River Ranch. It's made with less calories to help dogs that are over weight to lose a few, or for dogs who are less active or older.

Calories in - calories expended on exercise = calories stored in form of fat ( or fat calories burned if negative number)
Less food, better quality food to keep away form to much carb, more exercise.

How much are you feeding her? Can you cut back on it? Put her on a lite food for awhile and keep her energy level up. If she is getting older that could just be the age catching up with her.
