Can anyone tell me if they have ever flew on AirTran. I am so scared to fly on a plane i never flew on b4. Did it ever crash did it ever burn up.... im really terrified of planes and i like my life can anyone comfort me or at least help me get threw this. I usually use JetBlue ( i love them) butthis is my first time ever on AirTran....help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Air Tran is very safe and they have one of the newest and most modern fleet of aircraft in the world they fly Boeing 717s and Boeing 737-700. Of course the pilots are trained and very good at what they do and there are regulated by the FAA. There has not been a Major Airline Crash since November 2001 in the United States. Commercial Air Travel in the United States is very very very very SAFE.

Just remember you are more likely to die on the way to the airport than on the flight.
AirTran is very good, they have a great safety record. If you hate flying alone, then next time fly with me...I go all over the place and love to travel. JK

Its an airline, they are regulated by the Government, they must follow certain maintnance procedures, the airplanes and pilots are equally as safe... dont worry about it...
