What are the characteristics of the "God of the Bible"? How is He different from the God of Islam, Buddhists, Hindus, Jain's, Zoroastrians, Aboriginal God(s), etc.? I thought every religion has a God that is all knowing, all powerful, creator and controller of the universe.

Man has always tried to name God and fashion God to fit their own image of how they think God should be, but God is just God and loves us all no matter how childish we act.

The God of the Bible is so different from the Allah of Islam that Muslims are forced to call the word of God corrupt in order to say it is the same God. Study these other gods and you will find there is only one true God and he is the God of the Bible.

For example, the God of the Bible has a son, whereas the God of the Koran (Allah) has none. The 'God of the Bible' would be used to distinguish the Christian conception of God from alternate doctrines and traditions.

The God of the Bible is the only true God. The others are the world's copies or substitutes of Him. Do not be fooled by the other gods- they are not all the same. The God of the Bible is the only One who brings true peace, contentment, joy, and salvation.

The "god" of the bible is the christian sky-fairy. They will tell you that "he" is the one who created all things, and that any other "god" is a "false god", and of course the penalty for believing in one of those is a terrible one indeed. It's all really too silly to say much more.

Different religions have different gods of varying power, history, and status. Not every one has one supreme being that did everything, like with the biblical god.

God of the Bible is Jehova. God of Israel. The only God.
The god of Islam is Allah. He is a god of hate, sex and murder. He was derived of an ancient moon god.
Budah and the others is a whole different story. Pure pagans.
