Carl Froch is making noises about fighting for the WBC super middleweight title in or before march '08.
it doesn't matter if whether its vs calzaghe or kessler by then, i just don't think he's in their class. what do you think?

Froch is a talented guy but not in the same league as Calzaghe or Kessler.

Regarding the fight being 'unbroadcasted', it would be huge in the UK against Kessler and even bigger against Calzaghe. Froch is a more credible opponent than Manfredo is/was and the stadium in Cardiff was sold out when Calzaghe fought him. Either fight would be huge here and draw bigger crowds than many top fights in the US.

Also, fighting inside Europe is exactly what Froch should be doing when the top competition is inside Europe. I don't really understand that comment.

This fight will never happen, and if it does the fight will happen locally and un-broadcasted. Carl Froch has not proved himself fighting a real quality opponent. He fights inside europe. Bottom line not a marketable fight and a fighter who will be avoided or knocked out if he does fight for the title and never heard from again. (Bernard Hopkins did it twice to fighters who were at ranked at the time and look at them afterwards. It will happen again if he fights Kessler or Calzaghe.)

absolutly, i think froch is already better than calzaghe, i might be wrong but calzaghe's always fought sh*t blokes or blokes that are shot and at the end of their career, I KNOW froch hasn't fought anybody of real note either but there's something about him that pleases the eye when you watch him fight. you know when you see a fighter and you just know he's gonna do great things, that froch in my opinion also anthoney small.

Believe he will go on and beat Calzaghe to become world super middleweight champ if Calzaghe will fight him.

yes he wants to do it old school, so its British, European, then world champ. i think he has what it takes. this kid is good.
hes got to be the hardest single puncher in the division and he has the stamina to go 12.
good defence so yes hes got it in him anyway.
