I read where Dale Jr. is going to Hendricks motorsports. But, does anyone know if he is keeping his Budweiser sponsorship or his #8?

Although there are no for sures here, DEI will retain first choice on the number 8. Theresa will not likely let this number go, as it belonged to Dale Sr's dad(Jr's grandpa), and is part of the orginaztion. As for Budweiser, they still have some contract issues with DEI, but most likely they will follow Jr if at all possible. HMS has the final decision on sponsors, and they are not hurting for sponsorship now.

My bet is that Budweiser pays DEI a huge sum of money for the #8 and moves it and its sponsorship to Hendrick and Junior for 2008.

they haven't had sponsorship nor his number worked out thats something we will here about in the coming months. they have to talk to teresa about keeping the 8 and you know thats going to be the challenge.
i think that he will be able to keep budweiser since budweiser used to be a hendrick sponsor for DW.
Junior will still have Bud on the car but that doesn't mean he will have Bud in the car.

he will keep Budweiser if they choose to stay with him which they have said they will
as for his number it belongs to dei not Jr unless they opt to sell the rights to # 8 he wont be driving it
it sounds as if he will most likely drive 21 or 5

I think everything possible is going to be done to keep Jr., #8, and Bud together. One would be lost without the other two. They just fit so well together.

It hasn't been decieded yet.... He has to get permission from Theresa to keep #8 and its up to Bud if they want to follow him to Hendricks or stay at DEI....

Theresa isn't going to let the number 8 go no matter what. That was Ralph Earnhardt's number, I'm sure she wont let it go.
