Well if i forced you to shoot someone in the face, if i forced you to physically and there was no possiblity of not doing it, should you be punished or held responsible for it, NO! So people who may be hindu intend to love god and believe they have seeked him, they have fully intended to accept god, yet apparently they go to hell for "rejecting" jesus which they obviously did not intend to do, so for the bad they happened to commit out of intending good, are they let to suffer in hell by a "loving" god? No! You lot know nothing about anything, life after death is far more complicated than morales, right, wrong, bible promises and the idea of pain. We know nothing, when we die, it's not like a hall where people wait to be judged, there are no "rights" or "wrongs" or morals.

The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions

that was a question? :-) actually religion looks entirely different depending on whether it's mainstream or a mystic branch of a mainstream religion. For example some Hindus may believe solely in Krishna or Vishnu buy the Yogis believe in individual enlightenment, not in looking to some other enlightened being for salvation. Same with all the mystics, they don't accept salvation second-hand. They do have faith but don't accept it as the end of the path but the beginning and the end is their own enlightenment.

This is not a question..this is a rant. But I understand that you are confused. God judges us on both, intentions and actions, for actions follow intentions. But rest assured, God is Just, and He will judge people according to their hearts...But please understand, He has also said VERY CLEARLY that 1. There are no other gods. 2. There is no other path to Him but through Jesus. If you put your trust in Jesus, your sins are FORGIVEN--that's past, present, and future...and you will not be condemned for them. But if you reject Jesus and His salvation, you WILL stand under the judgement.

I implore you to read the New Testament, and ask God to send His Holy Spirit to reveal His Truth to you. God does not want anyone to fall into judgement--that's why He sent Jesus.

John 3:16 is the most quoted verse in all the Bible, but people still miss it's impact. "For God so LOVED the world that He sent His only Son, that ALL who BELIEVED in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life".

I could go on all day, but please, don't take my word on anything...read the Bible with a mind for seeking the Truth. If you are seeking the Truth, and not just being a "hater", He will show it to you.

I'm praying for God's peace to be revealed to you, for you seem to have a lot of anger. God Bless you, and keep seeking....

What are you on about?
Why is being a Hindu like being forced to shoot someone in the face?
Who says that Hindus go to Hell for rejecting Jesus?
I suggest you get your ideas straight in your mind and ask another question. Do not engage keyboard until brain is in motion.

God knows the heart so God knows your intentions as well as what you do. Nothing can be hidden from God.

"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick (living) and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom; Preach the word; be instant (ready) in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables (untruth, lies, myths)." 2 Timothy 4:1-4

Thank you for think clearly, we need more people with open minds such as yourself.

My belief is that whatever you think will happen in the afterlife will happen. If your Christian and believe in either going to Heaven or Hell then thats where your going. But you might be Hindu and you believe in reincarnation, then youll get reincarnated. Maybe your an athiest and you dont believe anything happens and it wont to you. There are hundreds of religions in the world, who says one is correct and the rest are going to Hell? Because thats what WE believe and not what THEY believe, and in everyone's opponion, their religion of choice is the only correct one.

I myself an Christian, but I absolutly hate it when other "Christians" condem others to Hell because they happen to be of another religion and insist Christianity is the one and only way. Never listen to those bigots, they obviously didnt read the part in the Bible when it talks about tollerance.

Good point.

Legally, when you are under duress, you are not as culpable. If a crazy guy puts a gun to your head and tells you to rob a bank (say, through a computer), he's the one in more trouble (and you'll probably get off with immunity if you testify against him).

The religious point is good, as well. A god judging people according to whether they are in the "right" religious group or not would be unfair, since the same god supposedly created people and placed them in societies where joining that religious group is nearly impossible.

that's an idiotic statement.
First you can't force anybody to do what they don't want to do.
And in fact there is a story in Genesis concerning a king who took a woman to be his wife who happened to be the wife of another man, but the man lied to the king and said she is his sister, God came to the man in a dream and warned him. The king said "I have done this out of the integrity of my heart."
God replied "I know so I have kept you from sinning."
Anybody who rejects Christ does so on their own free will-good intentions or not.
People like you irritate me because you look for any reason to view the only good thing in the universe in a negative light.
You blame God for your problems without looking in a mirror.
Stop being stupid and actually study on something before you speak.

Intention is the most important factor. The exact same action coming from different intentions means different things.
Do your best in each moment and live without regrets.

the thing about using a physical example for a spiritual thing is that it doesn't fly.

Physically you can force people to do something, spiritually... good luck.

If you go for a drive with a friend on the roof of your car and they fall off and die, you still go to jail. Did you intend to kill them? nope, just have fun, and yet, you still pay the price.

"the road to hell is paved with good intentions"
how old is that quote =p
