Sounds like either your UTI isn't cured--a lot of times the bacteria that caused it are not sensitive to the medication most often ordered. My husband had a UTI and was on Bactrim but had to be switched to Cipro before his cleared up. OR, and this is what it really sounds like--you have a kidney stone. Go back to the doctor ASAP. He will have you strain your urine and will probably order an IVP, an xray of your urinary system. Good luck.

From the pain you are describing it does sound like you could have a kidney issue. Especially so if you are drinking a lot of water and not passing it. It's also possible that the medication you took for the UTI didn't clear it up all the way and you may need another round of antibiotics. It's important to see your physician so he can determine where the pain is coming from. Most likely all they will do is a simple urine test. Good Luck!

Go to the doctor today. You most likely have a kidney infection. If you don't, that is great. But if you do, you need to get on antibiotics right away.
Take your temperature. If it is high, that is a bad sign. Check your weight, if it is higher than normal, that could mean you are retaining water because your kidney isn't filtering properly.
GO TO THE DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY. If you do not have insurance, you should still go, because if you let a kidney infection get worse, you will end up in the hospital, and that will cost you more.
Good luck, and please "edit" your question if you have more info, or find out something.

The body placement is a bit off, but from your description it sounds like a bladder outlet obstruction or urinary tract /urethral blockage.
The lack of urine flow is a definite concern and it must be addressed, however, you should not attempt treatment on your own. You will have to have a doctor check you out physically and determine which treatment is best.
Do not waste time, but attend to this as soon as possible because a blockage, if this is the problem, can lead to permanent damage very quickly.
