I mean maybe WE as people are more in tune with what's around us than what we may believe & the people who are more highly aware of their surroundings actually have opened their minds to the point that they believe anything is possible regarding the spiritual.

No I don't.
Because when it comes to something like seeing a miracle, ufo or whatever, we are so quick to get our heads around it and rationalize it, rather than believe the eyes and ears and believe what we have actually seen take place!
