many medications can be given in ampoule form can we if we dont have tablets drink the ampoule?

sure, there's many medications in ampules (liquid form) that will work fine if ingested orally. for example, ranitidine comes in both oral as well as IV form. the IV dose is only 50 mg, so you'd have to take more of them in order to have the same effect. however, most ampules contain medications that are meant to be administered either in IV or IM form and many will NOT work orally.

No, usually the contents of the ampule is in a form that must be injected intravenously.
