What do you think happens to us when we die?

Question

Different people have different beliefs about dying, death and the afterlife.

My grandmother passed away last week. My family was standing in the room around her bed. My uncle opened the window because it was hot in there. When he did, a huge gust of wind came into the room, blew up the ceiling tiles, swirled around and she died. Was it my grandfather coming for her?

Do you think we just die and that it? Or do you think we see all our lost loved ones in heaven?

Hi Samantha,

I believe our soul leaves our body, when we die. We are caught in a static state, not yet welcomed into Heaven. For a period we are guardian angels, challenged to help people here on earth and to ease suffering and to be guardians of children and those who cannot defend themselves.

When we have released our attachment to personal unfinished business here on earth, and have proven worthy, we are admitted to Heaven.

It sounds like your grandfather and grandmother were reunited, free of their bodies and earthly burdens. I can't say if they are in Heaven, but they will be watching over you.

The people who have left us are in a far better place, although they do watch over us and help protect us whenever they can.

Confer with the Lord and let him guide you on your grandmother and your own soul. Maybe these verses will be helpful in guiding you.

John 3:16 For God so loved he world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Finally Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
In accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior we have the gift of eternal life as it says in the scriptures.
Read these scriptures from the King James Bible and let the Lord give you your answer concerning your grandmother and may it be a peaceful answer in some form that he gives you.

I believe that the wind the Goddess calling your grandmother.

I believe your soul goes to a place called the Summerland where it rests briefly and then goes to its next life and your body goes to the Earth is it's buried.

Also I believe you do see your loved ones in your next life, but in a different relationship. For instance, your grandfather could come back as your son and you grandmother could return as a close friend.

I believe that was her making her exit.

Believe it or not, within about 30 seconds of my Grandma death, the power went off in my home for about 10 seconds. No storms or anything. I couldn't be there when she died and was on the phone with family who were with her and it happened.

If you believe in God and the Life after death i have the answer to your question.
Once we die we will be born again and that will be on te day of Judgement. God will evaluate our good and bad deeds and decide for us heaven or hell. If the good deed out weigh the bad ones heaven is waiting for him/her. Otherwise the burning pit of fire 70 times more hotter than fire on this earth is being prepared , for those who refused to accept that there is only One Creator and only To Him we will go back!

If you have met all of the requirements, I believe you move on to another level. At this higher level you will see the one that left us here. You will "continue".

If you have failed to meet the requirements you recycle and come back to this level as a baby and try again.

If you have embraced evil you do not come back and you do not continue.

im sorry about your loss.
i have reason to believe that we are reincarnated into a new life. my friends little brother knew everything about a model war plane he Had never seen b4 and new about someone who fought in like world war 2 or something. its kinda scary.
i also think that we see the ones we love in heaven but we also become part of the earth.

well people say if you die a very painful death or a tourtureous death then your soul can't reach heaven or hell so you are bound to roam the earth untill the earth perishes. but whatever. if your good most of ur life and don't commit suicide or murder someone else, or rape someone, or rob a bank, i belive you go to heaven if you don't do any of that crap. but hey what the hell do i know?
just worrie about living for now on......

i dont know about heaven. but if you wish to call it that you can. just like space and time life is infinite. that wich is inside of us is eternal. death is the all elusive blackhole of space. only those whom have passed through knows the truth. death for us is a portal, our blackhole to the eternal.
