Is English grammar dying or evolving

It's because they're uneducated.
Also the Internet and use of "text language" has meant that young people don't use the correct spelling (I noticed some one type "they one the bid" how the hell do you confuse one with won?)
I so agree with you I hate this, I wish people would do at least the simple things right!

The problem is lack of education. English grammar is likely dying and evolving to a point. It is dying in our school system, but is evolving in higher education. That would be my theory.

People don't pay attention and they're too lazy to care, unfortunately.

Teachers don't seem to notice these things often, either. One of my friends will show me an essay with various mistakes in grammar, and she'll get graded an A with no corrections!

Those are common misspellings. Many homonyms are misspelled. It's just laziness and bad grammar, both of which are here (hear, heer) to stay!

just a matter of pronounciation or ignorance or they dont come from an educated background. try to fit it in either of those 3.
