I think you're wasting your time. The internet is loaded with FREE images of adorable pets. Nobody needs to pay money to see them.

The first and most important thing to remember is that it is not about the subject, but the skill with which photographs are taken.

Are you taking the pictures yourself? If so, make sure you have a decent digital camera (I say digital because it is the quickest and easiest to deal with for this purpose). You'll want it to be at least five megapixels.

Next, take A LOT of pictures under a number of different lighting conditions and angles. You never know what someone may want or need. Try not to use the flash whenever possible as those photos will be washed out with harsh shadows and unusable.

Taking photos against a plain white background means that someone can put the image of your dog against any background than they want. All you need is a piece of white poster board that you curve against the floor to create a seamless backdrop.

After you have your photos, you'll want to touch them up in a program like Photoshop. At the very least, adjust the brightness, contrast, and color to make the picture look as good as possible (all three can be accomplished at the same time with the "Curves" filter in Photoshop).

Finally, the easiest way to get your pictures out there and possibly start making some money off of them is to have an account with an online stock photography company. Most of them allow users to submit photographs that graphic designers use in their designs. Any time a photo is downloaded, the original artist gets paid a royalty. You can also try selling products with your dog's image on them through a free service like CafePress. They'll put any image on just about any product (t-shirts, mousepads, mugs, etc.), allow you to set the price, and they will handle the online sales.

I hope this helps. Remember though, what you need to begin with is top-notch photography. It doesn't matter how cute your puppy is if the pictures are of low quality.

Get a color blanket that will compliment the pup the most, us it as a backdrop and snap a pic. Go on-line, put an ad in the paper, post signs, etc etc, Don't forget to give the info on the pup. Its very simple huh?
